Nothing like dustin the old Venerable out for a shake or two. Nothing too tedious and wouldn't go and mention it if they weren't so obtuse about it. Caught this zoner hauling just a few military vehicles. He pretty much said he twas haullin the stuff to a Freeport. Well nothing like a varmint bein guilty by admission but here ya go. You'd think he'd stop but twasnt until the venerable got right in front of him did he actually choose to comply.
Seems ignorance is bliss wit these Zoners so I educated him. He did eventually drop the cargo and we let him on his merry after destroying the military vehicles. I'm gona watch that dude a bit closer now.
Oh yea one more thing. Caught this Bowex transport hauling light arms. Oddly the database was down tight so ah couldn't check and I did ask sum other bowex ships but nun did respond to me. Just thought I'd let you know. ...wait a second....Dang nabbit... that was the BMM! Son of a gun....

Well today has been fun. Ran a patrol of Omega 7 and ran into sumfin I haven't seen since Texas. A Liberty Rouge! In his nice shiny pirate transport. That coupled with a Pirate ID pretty much summed it up. Ah had second thoughts about lettin him go but he just kept tryin ta run. That don't sit well with the Cowboy. With him all kinds of illegal and wut pirate is? We opened fire on him. That second thought was all kinds of vanished when a Hessian cruiser came to assist him. The [RF]Krusenstern twas kina bent on taking me out. I commanded the gunners to ignore the cruiser and take out that Rouge. Kaboom. That was enough fer the Venerable. We thrustered as fast as we could to the Daumann base and its guns tore that Hessian Cruiser a new one. They got the point and went on their merry way.

After chasin another Hessian cruiser all around and escortin a Repex transport to Munich, we headed on back to Omega 7, twer thinking fer the night. Nope. On our final check of the system we saw an empty Republican ID transport wit no IFF cruising away frum the edge of IMG mining space. Well twerent that sumthin else. We'd got the update that bases needed to be approved and logged in by Rheinalnd so my old Texas Marshal senses twer twichin. Did a couple of loops and lo and behold. A base. Did a bit of wondering about to see wut twould happen and just seemed the darndest of places to keep a base. The transport Wolfgang.Amadeus came on back and we had ourselves a little chat. Gave him every chance in the verse to explain his actions, heck he never even invoked the words, 'I werk for Republican and this is their base.' May have been cause it was so dang plum far from anything Rheinalnd, save the system. Well after he cussed me out, ah let him go but held position at the base. Though fer a moment the targeted the edge of one of the struts and fired a Razor blast at it. Oh man alarms went up all over. I'm thinking that transport will come back and be a tad more polite. Nope. Sum varmint in an explorer ship and Pirate ID named Roger.the.Doger flys on up. Not the greatest warning or welcome but he opened fire on me rather quick like. We returned the favor and eventually sent him to be wit his fluffy lord.
And that pilgrims twas the preverbal straw that broke the back. With juice still in the guns, we did a 180, locked on and turned that base into something closer to base elements. The base did have an ID of Mines.of.Moria , never heard of it. All well and said, I'll count that as two.

Never a dull moment eh chaps? Never ran into one of these before and hoped never to have to battle one. The MS-Siegburg ran a cargo of Tobacco over across the embargo line into the Bering system. I may have just brushed it off but this chap did a few things. 1. He never once invoked that he was ALG. 2. He used the 'You're just a freelancer,' excuse. 3. He landed and blathered over the comms about me being some gun happy Teen. Hmm well I never fired at him, tried to get him to see reason, and he was down right rude. He's also on the RCDB
Another embargo breaker, only this one was bent on getting to his destination. Almost wish I knew where too. Those things are bought in New Tokyo and sold for a mint at the IMG base in Omega 3. So why was he bringing them through Hamburg? He tried to land but I put the Venerable between him and the docking port. He didn't like that. The Stork transport tride to make a run for it, even firing on the DHC fighter before we opened fire on them and eventually took them out. They did not have an IMG tag, they did not invoke any 'Hey we're the IMG,' just that I was a pathetic freelancer. Sad really.
No rest for the weary. We had a communication from a Daumann ship that the Hessians were destroying shipments heading to the new Rheinland base over The Ring. Hmm, that gives me an idea. Anyway, there was a tri-group of fighters. Maneuverable, strike hitters, pretty effective. The Daumann took all three on at once and I wasn't seeing any fair play as all three of them ganged up on him. Yea, bloody amazing. Went to full power and got in the mix, keeping their shields down until backup arrived. They didn't like that. One broke off and ran for that hessian base they have hidden in New Berlin. I wasn't about to let them call for reinforcements of their own. I broke off to the now two on two and went in pursuit of that damn Hessian. He was fantastic at avoiding my disruptors, but when we finally got to the rock fields, he made one mistake too many and it cost him. Moments before that Rheinland pilot took out another one. Safe to say that third one was going to have a really bad day.

Not the best show of force but I managed to get my lickins in a bit. Right at the jump gate to Stuttgart in New Berlin a Renegade bomber sat and awaited anyone who passed by. Well the Venerable wasn't gona just pass them by. Scanners picked up another one coming frum the direction of the Junker base and things were about to get serious. No time to mince words so we opened fire on the varmint and eventually managed to take out the bomber befor the gunboat pulled the saddle frum under us. With no fire support, it was kina a one sided battle.

This was a good one. I ran into Han_Solo in a rheinalnd transport taking cargo through Hamburg. Since Hamburg isn't the selling point for multi quantiumplexor things, I figured he was lost or just doing what every bad smuggler tries to do, be stupid. He did it fantastically. I tried to get his attention in rather peaceful ways, even bumped his ship to which he started bolting to the trade lane. Was he trying to our run me? Well I CD'ed his engines, he didn't like that and opened fired on me. Somehow we registered the hit but took no shield damage. Go figure. Told him who I was working for, asked him to stop, he said why and'¦.that was enough for me. I ended up blasting his butt into kingdom come. Giving Freelancers a bad name. Normally I would have left it there and not reported a broken ship to the RCDB but he somehow returned minutes later in a new ship to repeat his offense. That buddy is going down.

Three for one this night.
In an early patrol in the Hamburg system, me and Joey ran into a Border Worlds heavy transport supplying uncut diamonds to Liberty. Not gona happen. He wasn't much of a talker and he kept running so we charged the snac and let him have it. Those ships are rather tough you know? but no match for me! GOTCHA GOGUTA!. And JUST incase anyone thinks I tried to profit from this, behold the murder of uncut diamonds.. Besides, where else am I going to sell 47 of them but Liberty space. YEA that's going to happen.

Next up was Mordecai with Beryllium in the cargo hold, heading to, you guessed it, Liberty space. Now this wasn't mined ore, just stuff he bought off of some station. I gave him notice and every chance to mend his ways. He could have taken the high road and just complied with Rheinalnd law, but screwing with the system is just so gosh darn fun! So he thought, before I blew him up. Sometimes its just easier to listen to reason, in a vacuum

Last and least was Mudslinger Now he said he was heading to Cold Bay station with some nomad thing in a cryo-lockdown. How about no? How about Hell no? Now I did let him ship the boat full of medicine to wherever so sue me. I'm not going to hull a transport for shipping aspirin ok? I did educate him on the flaw of his nomad thingys and he was good enough to jettison it into space and vaporize it. That was that. I'll give that one to you free Rheinland.

Howdy! Ran a typical clockwise three point patrol of Omega 7 and ran into a Kruger AND IMG mining in the IMG fields. They said they were protecting themselves from a pirate. Namely one Red Riot. I continued the patrol to the Kruger fields, nothin! Headded off to the IMG base, and nothin again. On route to the Stuttgart base ah ran into the Varmint and lo and behold a little somthin frum home, a Lane Hacker Gunship commanded by none other than The-Red-Riot. His cargo told me he didn't have any care of anyone, typical pirate.
Looked him over a bit and even he knew he was out gunned. Leaving him there would have been a bad idea. We gave notice and let him have it! Eventually, the varmint got it.
Shortly after he returned to Omega 7, licking his wounds. Twasnt about to let that happen. Gave him 30 seconds to rethink his life and his tactical situation. He lasts a lot longer that time around, but ah pulled the old sit and spin and let the turrets do the rest. Ka boom.
This is wut you call yer typical two fer one Rheinland.

Nice. The Bowmanfire! an Akegata Transport, ALG IFF and a Deep Space Enginnering ID all carrying human cargo, the bad kind, into Rheinland. The idiot didn't even respond at all and just started firing on me! Was he out of his mind? Gave engagement and Joey charged up the SNAC and let him have it. He didn't have the best turret gunners and at range, I was harder to hit. The damn Tradelane kept magnetically drawing all my mines to it and I had to resort to direct fire. Then the transport up and lands! I came close to the starbase to generate a false landing request, hoping the guy would lift off again. I really didn't think he would, but he did! He made a run for it, attempting to fight his way into New Berlin. That wasn't going to happen. All the human cargo was accounted for and it took forever to get a passing transport to safely take them to the starport nearby.

So here's Frick and Frack. I'll disguise their names as Sickology and Drucifer. Both were carrying diamonds into Hamburg and when I asked them if they were taking them into Liberty, they FIRED on me! No witty anythings, just gunfire. Yea well that didn't set well with me, the whole killing me thing, so I took it upon myself to try to kill them right back. They didn't seem to double team me, at first. I did managed to get the upper hand. Dear god what kind of fuel is int those things! Took them out one by one but the last one tried to give me the slip and activate some older cloaking device. And now, there are none. That was fun.

I ran into a Heron transport with the ID of Kara.Windrunner
That stacked its cargo to prevent a quick scan of the illegal cargo. Oh tricky ticky, but I knew that trick back when we, um , escorted Gaian wildlife to Cold Bay. Fuzzy pets are one thing but human slave cargo? I don't think so. This one was a smooth operator, saying he as heading to liberty as I caught him coming FROM Bering. Yea. Tried to get him to land and drop the people off at Hamburg but he didn't seem too trustworthy. Not one bit. He hit the mooring aperture and he started releasing the people into space. I guess he had something else in mind and he landed anyway, even after a warning. I faked a landing at the station but the transport didn't fall for that and remained planet side. I'll get him later. For now he's on the RCD.
