Its not THAT difficult to get bounties.. It took me 6 hours to get a 50 million credit bounty on all Kiretsu characters, as well as on NovaPG Rangu Hikari. Tip; Kill/pirate traders until one gets mad and whistles up the cavalry (clan mates). When they hire a merc GB, and ask a friend (Zoner Destroyer, Universal ID) as well as a USS Liberty Battlecruiser Titan to come stop you, blow all 3 up, get out alive and well. You'll get a bounty.
(For the record, we killed 6 traders (none paid..), 1 Universal-tagged Raven's Talon [who turned out to be KoF member and called up the cavalry, may or may not have hired that GB], the Merc-IDd Corsair GB. Directly afterwards, both Haveheart (Zoner Dest) and USS Titan (Lib BC) were killed by our Blood Dragon HF and Bomber Duo!:D) Report by Lohingren coming.. I can even hear the typing through Skype..)
All I'm saying is I have seen alot of bounties on large portions of a factions head. LSF, Rhienland, whatever. Maybe its because I see bounties as a way of complaining, but oh well, ignore me.
While being quite funny, your sig was the biggest one i've ever seen so far. No more than 700x250 please. ~utrack http://pastebin.com/SYQXBufs
I actually quite like the bounties. I had one on me, and it was pretty fun, especially when the bounty hunter RPs before opening fire... which is a double edged sword... I was very surprised when my fellow Corsairs [read: NPCs] didn't care when a spineless mercenary opened fire upon me... right over Crete, if you get my drift.
Similarly, I didn't appreciate the BH Battlecruiser firing on me while I was typing a response to a question the person was planning to claim (and did so) had just asked. *whine whine* but that probably means i shouldnt loiter at 0 speed while i type...
I think Bounties on lawful/unlawful are great. If you think there's too many bounties on lawfuls... perhaps that just means we need more bounties on unlawfuls to even things up;)Of course, there's probably people who don't enjoy bounties on them as much as me. Hm.
I have no problem with the bounty placed on my lawful :DShould be fun!
Although if you are going to take a contract in Liberty on a lawful remember that you will be marked as KOS by the local law enforcement factions. Only unlawful's should attempt to claim the bounty on me and mercenaries that decide to work unlawful contracts. I doubt lawful mercs like the Mandolorians or the Jupiters Guild will try and claim this prize and Bounty Hunters trying to claim it would be really OORP.
i thought mandalorians were in contract with the nova pg. so they are prolly not too lawful. jupiter guild appears more neutral / lawful. BHGs simply cannot take those bounties. and mercs that kill lawfuls for such a contract will be marked as unlawful... it will be hard for such a merc to earn enough trust by lawfuls again.

Well, as far as I'm aware; John Cabot, who currently leads the Mandalorians is Bretonian and the contract with NovaPG is against KNF so, if you take that into account, it makes sense, no?
well, its difficult. i - as a BHG cannot take a contract against kusari / bretonia. cause i am bound to be lawful. even if the contract came from bretonia against kusari, kusari as an officially "lawful" faction cannot be a target of a contract for a lawful merc. if the contract comes from an unlawful faction, it is an unlawful contract making the merc unit unlawful.
the BHG has a problem with both, bretonia and kusari. BHG in kusari is just tolerated - but looked upon suspiciously. they are foreigners and untrustworthy from the point of view of the kusari - and as said above, the BHG cannot fight against bretonia with that set of rules.
in bretonia - the BHG has a problem with the current policy. bretonia employing the QCP, a pirate organization that pirates in sigma or kusari. with such a unit in comand at the bretonian forces - the sponsor of the contracts would be considered "unlawful" and so, the BHG cannot take those bounties.
Well thats new info to me regarding the Madalorians. Currently we have a good working relationship with that organisation and as such are trusted to operate within Liberty. We are one of their largest clients and you don't bite the hand that feeds you!
It's interesting to note the Mandolrians are being funded by Blood Dragons against a lawful faction. But then the BAF and KNF are two lawful factions at war. In this instance Liberty does not take a stance although Liberty has stronger ties with Bretonia than Kusari. As long as the Mandolorians remain lawful within Liberties borders and respect the law then I do not see the need for action.
Should a Mandolorian accept the contract on my head they would lose a good client and quickly find their Liberty breathing privilages revoked. We have stepped into a mercenary grey area here I think.
Policy is dictated by the Director and we follow his guidance and instructions, so as it stands at the moment Mandolrians are welcome in Liberty.
