Freeport 1 Administrative Broadcast to HoT & Jokerz

On behalf of Freeport 1 administrator Genine San Savage and CoF chairperson Alicia Blake I wish to inform you of the following:

Due to repeated reports of acts of piracy against vessels within 5k sphere around the station known as Freeport 1, in violation of station laws and the laws of the Confederation of Freeports the penalties listed under sections 8 and 9 are hereby enforced.

8. Those deemed criminals towards confederation station and other Zoner installations as determined by confederation station administration and their associates will be denied docking.

9. Those judged to be in violation of the law are subject to penalties that include, but are not limited to: destruction of the vessel, fines, bounties, and denial of docking rights at all Zoner stations Sirius-wide.

In addition, under the Treaty of Omega 3 sections 3.2 and 3.4 HoT and Jokerz have been found to be a hazard to shipping within the Omega 3 trade transit corridor.

3.2 - The Administration of Freeport One is given the power to regulate docking rights to Freeport One. Vessels and pilots known to be a threat to local commercial shipping will be denied docking rights.

3.4 - The Administrations of Aland Shipyard and Freeport One may be required to deny docking rights to individuals known to attack commercial shipping, Bretonian Military, or Police forces within Snowdown and subsequently dock on these bases.

HoT and Jokerz vessels are denied docking access to Freeport 1 and all CoF member stations. Mister Church, vice chair of the Confederation and Chief of Foreign Offenses, will be contacting HoT and Jokerz separately with further information if it has not already been done as of this message.

Due to repeated activities of the HoT ships within the vicinity of Freeport 1 to include piracy and assaults on shipping, enforcement of section 9 of station laws regarding this group is now expanded to include all Zoners, signatories of the Omega 3 treaty and their agents.

The signatories or their agents may freely enter the 5k NFZ to engage or continue engagement of the HoT pirates. They (HoT) will no longer be able to use the station's trade zone perimeter as a shield against attack. It is appreciated if after such incidents a report is made to the station using the incident report network (link).

Repeat: In regards to HoT tagged pirate ships, permission to enter and engage these ships within the 5k NFZ is not required. If questioned regarding weapons fire within the zone please refer bystanders to this message. This permission applies toward engagement of HoT pirates only at this time.

For all combatants engaging HoT pirates, please ensure the safety of bystanders and passing civilian shipping as much as is possible.

Dear Ms. Genine San Savage,

the changes in FP1 regulations have been acknowledged.

The IMG will make sure that no damage can be inflicted to the Freeport or to passerbys by refraining from the use of armor-piercing or high damage weaponry (e.g. bomber weaponry) when in the vicinity of the Freeport.

Generally, the IMG will try to avoid firing incidents inside the Freeport zone, and we both know why this makes sense. But it is good to see that in emergencies there is a clear ruling to fall back on.
