Make Annapurna civilian Sirius-wide miner

So, I noticed Annapurna IMG medium miner is nice ship, not as huge as Hege is, thus it has some chances to run from pirate in asteroid field. But there's no Sirius-wide civilian counterpart, only IMG can use it. Quite not fair IMO and Jack's opinion too. Here's humble request to make it civilian ship, like Talon is IMG originated, or Camara's origin from DSE.

Okay, let's clarify it a bit.

I said: "Yes, we can do this" in Skype. That means: "I am not generally against the opening of the Annapurna for other mining groups".

So... that is an oorp statement.

How to get there irp? I don't know as I haven't thought about it yet.

But normally, something like this is done in tech negotiations. And by giving the party that has something you want something. Etc... so there is rp opportuntity.

What I do not want is: "Sale points introduced in BMM, DHC, Kruger base". It's a ship of the IMG line. It will stay one.

What I can imagine is: Sale point is an IMG base (like Shire is on Bowex base that IMG cannot dock, and IC has probs docking on a base that sells the Train) BUT other mining corps can aquire it (e.g. by tech deals, diplomacy, etc) AND they also get a mining bonus in it (if that bonus is limited to IMG ID right now). Core nerf ofc will be severe, but mining lasers do not matter anyway.

I do not like everybody flying an IMG mining ship, as I would not like non-IMG flying Lhotses or Nanda Devi's.

As the IMG is rather freely selling their ships (see the Raven's Talon), I can see an opening of this civilian technology in the future (next version?) as the ships would gradually be sold and resold and would end in open markets.

But what is really essential for me at the moment is that groups that want something roleplay for it. And if that happens, I can see a way how to make it accessible to (official) factions that give the IMG a good ingame reason.

Perhaps that as an explanation what the "The IMG agreed" means.

I doubt IMG| cares too much about anyone flying the Annapurna. I am strongly against making it non-IMG though, it's enough that most people can fly it with a 75-90% nerf.

Everyone else can use the Hegemon. That's civilian. Maybe one day people even realize that having the old cargospace on that big one back would be a good thing,...

I don't mind keeping it IMG or throwing it on the civilian market. The ship isn't very powerful in combat - but can dodge a lot and has a reasonable cargo capacity. I concur with restoring the Hegemon to it's original cargo capacity incidentally.
