While making a delivery to Rochester Base, a Junker Congress Barge decloaked five kilometers off of my port bow. Scanned data was examined later and found two items of cargo of interest: Oil and Manifolds - Both of which are of Gallic origin. These are doubly serious violations, and I understand they have been previously ordered to remove the cloaking device.

Subject: Patrol Log and Re-entry into Service
This will serve as the first report during this time of service to Liberty. I am no stranger to what dangers lurk out in open space as this is my 3rd time to enter active flight duty. First off, I'd like to apologize for the long delay between the approval of enlistment papers and start of patrol runs. I've been battling my medical condition, which at the moment has been kept in check with meds and therapy. Rest assured this will not hinder combat capability. I have yet to complete my ship upgrades and as such find myself a regular visitor to sickbay as opposition seems to frequently use me as target practice. Of the past 8-9 odd hours of patrol time logged, I'm counting 1.5-2 hours left to drifting in my escape pod. Seems lawless individuals have really stepped up in terms of equipment, bringing gunboats to swat down crotch-rocket fighters, but we face them none the less. I do however question the means of how we deal with certain situations. Case and point of my last patrol run with Junior Lieutenant Rohj Teerin. I was escorting a independent Bounty Hunter capital ship during its business transaction (lawful, not a combat mission, escorted ship to ensure peaceful activity) when we I received notification of a smuggler Elisa.Ibanez (Slave liner, Outcast ID, Outcast Tagged) from an Independent LPI officer John.Whitney. I apprehended the suspect my West Point - California trade lane and was shortly joined there by Teerin. Unknown to me Independent Liberty Navy Battlecruiser, Astute, was en-route as well. Upon halting the smuggler, suspect was reluctant to comply with dropping the cargo. I therefore insisted compliance with the threat of me physically boarding the ship and doing a number on the crew. With a little more pressure from Lt. Teerin threatening to bring down the smugglers shields, the suspect peacefully emptied her cargo hold. I then attempted to tractor in the slaves for processing and debriefing at the nearest Naval facility. Before anyone could react, Astute up and blown the suspect ship to bits, the 3000 slaves left floating in space were vaporized with the ensuing blast. Maybe I've gone soft, or just used to the VBSS (visit-board-search-seizure) procedures, but this is definitely excessive use of force. I'm still trying to figure out the gun-cam programming new to the ship but I am attaching photo evidence of what I was able to record at the bottom of this report. The only consolation to us who witnessed the event is that at least we didn't hear 3000 screams of agony of people being vaporized in space. Would like to ask high command how to handle the Astute and its crew if ever we encounter it again. Lt. Teerin reports that some issues that risen from that ship in the past. Furthermore, I have had earlier long distance from Kusari forces that Astute was wandering around, chasing a unmentioned vessel in KUSARI ZoI. I will devote the majority of this weeks flight time to income generation and finally purchase an armor upgrade to serve more useful the the cause.

I wanted to forward along the testimony I received from the captain of a secondary fleet gunboat, the [color=#33FF33]LNS Forward Unto Dawn. Her captain, Joshua Hunt, reported to me his side of an incident occurring earlier today, which he believed might end up coming to the attention of our High Command.

Quote:[06.08.2012 18:20:49] LNS-Forward.Unto.Dawn: Hunt: Joshua Hunt here, there was a bit of a problem with a few Freelancers earlier.
[06.08.2012 18:21:09] [LN]-James.Lambert: Hello Mr. Hunt. Please, share the story.
[06.08.2012 18:27:09] LNS-Forward.Unto.Dawn: Hunt: Sorry about that, sir. Ion interference.
[06.08.2012 18:27:59] LNS-Forward.Unto.Dawn: Hunt: Anywho, These two freelancers. We've seen them movin' Detroit weaponry to Rheinland.
[06.08.2012 18:28:19] LNS-Forward.Unto.Dawn: Hunt: I managed to catch one after returning from a fight in Penny with these two Outcast Dreads.
[06.08.2012 18:28:32] LNS-Forward.Unto.Dawn: Hunt: he was flying a Behemoth class Rheinland transport.
[06.08.2012 18:28:42] [LN]-James.Lambert: Ship name?
[06.08.2012 18:29:07] LNS-Forward.Unto.Dawn: Hunt: Saarnev something, really long, alot of A's in it.
[06.08.2012 18:29:26] LNS-Forward.Unto.Dawn: Hunt: Anyways, I questioned it, asked it to drop it's cargo and I'd escort it to Bretonia.
[06.08.2012 18:29:49] LNS-Forward.Unto.Dawn: Hunt: It refused and docked with the lane, I cut it, it demanded to know what was wrong. By then,
[06.08.2012 18:30:08] LNS-Forward.Unto.Dawn: Hunt: The Second transport, a Liberty class Bison with PlanetForm Papers, was in range.
[06.08.2012 18:30:43] LNS-Forward.Unto.Dawn: Hunt: The Rheinland transport tried to dock with the lane, it spat in my face and refused to stop.
[06.08.2012 18:31:07] LNS-Forward.Unto.Dawn: Hunt: so, Like anyone would do, I destroyed it. The Bison tractored in it's weapons and got mouthy.
[06.08.2012 18:31:34] LNS-Forward.Unto.Dawn: Hunt: Alot of what he was saying was incomprehensible, I think he was questioning things he didn't understand.
[06.08.2012 18:31:58] LNS-Forward.Unto.Dawn: // in other words, he was swearing, complaing, alot of OORP screaming, then the Behemoth guy,
[06.08.2012 18:32:08] LNS-Forward.Unto.Dawn: // came back on a fighter and shot at me without a word.
[06.08.2012 18:32:30] LNS-Forward.Unto.Dawn: Hunt: The Judges were in the area at the time.
[06.08.2012 18:32:44] LNS-Forward.Unto.Dawn: Hunt: That's all I have for you sir.
[06.08.2012 18:32:48] LNS-Forward.Unto.Dawn: Hunt: Any comment?
[06.08.2012 18:32:59] [LN]-James.Lambert: Certainly an interesting situation.
[06.08.2012 18:33:17] LNS-Forward.Unto.Dawn: Hunt: Probably the most interesting I've had since I started my Service, sir.
[06.08.2012 18:33:19] [LN]-James.Lambert: Do you have any guncam evidence?
[06.08.2012 18:33:42] LNS-Forward.Unto.Dawn: Hunt: Only what the Bison Claimed to have taken, which I'll asume he's going to change.
[06.08.2012 18:34:00] LNS-Forward.Unto.Dawn: Hunt: Two Members of the Secondary Fleet Core were also present.
[06.08.2012 18:34:51] LNS-Forward.Unto.Dawn: Hunt: I'm going to moor this gunboat for the time being, sir. Going to get in my Avenger instead.
[06.08.2012 18:35:14] [LN]-James.Lambert: Copy that.
[06.08.2012 18:35:18] [LN]-James.Lambert: Thanks for the report.
[06.08.2012 18:35:37] Joshua.Hunt: Anytime, I'll let you know If I remember the names.
[06.08.2012 18:36:00] [LN]-James.Lambert: Sure thing.

Unfortunately the lack of guncam evidence makes it hard to verify his story, but I see idiots like those traders he described every day in Liberty and I have no trouble believing that what he's said is true. In addition, Captain Hunt assisted Primary Fleet forces for a couple of hours afterwards and seems to have a level head on his shoulders.

Greetings, sirs.
After searching the Alberta system for some time, I have managed to discover a base by the name of [color=#CC0000]Platinum Incorporated out there. I was initially suspicious of several vessels whose frequent presence in the system was giving me cause for concern. Combined with having run across one or two of the vessels with various base supply material I was given proper motivation to begin my search. The base appears to be a Core 2 station currently undergoing construction to Core 3. I'm uploading the relevant visuals below. Additionally, I was able to dock with the station, which is how I obtained some of the intel I have. They have at least two weapon platforms enabled of the Type 1 variety, and their storage contains several exotic weapons, as well as at least one piece of biological material we consider contraband. I recommend an immediate investigation into the base with the hopes that we can resolve this matter to the satisfaction of the Government. Another potential revenue source would be welcome, I'm sure.

Beaumont here.
Took the Battlecruiser LNS-Aegis.Fate
out for a spin due to some Council cruiser not wanting to vacate Newark.
Myself, Lieutenant Commander Sius, and a secondary fleet Executioner Frost.713 escorted to Riverside, but at that point it tried to bug out. Quick
action was taken, and it soon became a pile of debris.
With the possibility of a Rogue Gunboat in New York, I jumped into the LNS-Say.My.Name on Norfolk, and fanned out with Sius, Commander Clark, and Captain Polstari. After coming up with nothing, we
struck gold with a Barghast and Gunboat jumping out from Pennsylvania into
New York. The Gunboat jumped back, and I followed in pursuit along with Clark
and Sius. After brief fighting, it managed to catch a Supernova and it shattered.
Polstari, who had stayed behind to shoo the Barghast, managed to force it to
dock onto Buffalo.

Good day,
Today is a sad day... as Lieutenant Commander Remus Sius suffered a heart attack whilst on patrol. Luckily Lt Commander Jane Hartman and Commander Jorzza Clark responded immediately to the distress call initiated by "TIM".
They were able to safely transport the Lt Cmdr to Fort Bragg Medical Center... where he is now being assessed by medical personnel. Let us hope this won't be a serious matter.
In the words of the Lieutenant Commander.

Greetings, sirs.
While running materials earlier today aboard the [color=#FFFF00]LLS Sierra Nevada, I attempted to to reach the LNS Harris when I noticed via sensor net that several heavy class Sirian Coalition Revolutionary Army warships were operating in Colorado aside it. Having chased several SCRA vessels through Liberty the day before, including a supposedly unarmed "Typhoon" class Destroyer, I was concerned with the lack of response and ordered the launch of the LNS Lake Shasta to investigate. I was able to gather several Secondary Fleet elements as well and we worked to find them in Colorado, to New York, and then to Texas. We found the LNS Harris to be undertow by the CPW Kursk and non-responsive to our hails. We picked up communications that indicated the gunboat had been boarded by Coalition forces, an act tantamount to war. Whatever attempt to end it peacefully was cut off when the CPW Vanguard opened fired on the LNS Lake Shasta. We managed to take out the Kursk and Vanguard, two "Storm" class gunboats, while marines from the LLS Arleigh Burke managed to board and recapture the Harris. We were also able to take out the CPW Tigr, though my vessel was not present for that kill. Unfortunately, the CPS Glavlit made off with a traitor and the commander of the enemy forces, one Katya Vaschenko . I'm not aware of the extent of the damage intelligence wise, but I assume that any recent data is at risk. Additionally, I do not have a current sitrep on Captain Roy Sanders or the crew of the Harris. I'm hoping that Commander Clark can bring their status here shortly.
Additionally, I am ordering that all LLS shipping that leaves the immediate borders of Liberty be proceeded by at least one scout vessel. Additional escort is to be given upon request. I'll not have the Coalition "sink" our vessels and cut off our supplies using stealth hit and run tactics.

Jordan here, reporting.
We-, I mean the LLS-Clearwater came under attack by two pirate bombers. Must've been somewhere near Manhattan, we'd just entered the lane for Fort Bush. A transport was being shaken down by the bombers, and they were about to open up, so the Lieutenant Commander gave the order to intervene.
Lieutenant Raymond says we lasted a few minutes. I'm not sure. The order to abandon ship came through not long before the core went critical. Seventeen of us made it off, and someone managed to grab the guncam's last shot before we went up. Our thrusters went... odd, and all of our pods ended up in the field behind Manhattan. An LSF Agent, Void, or something, picked us up and took us to the Missouri.
Think the transport got away, at least.
I've attached a list of our missing. Lieutenant Raymond has us waiting for medical now. Asked me to fill out this report.

Clark Here,
Following up on Captain Polstari's report on what I'm referring to the Harris incident. I don't know whats happened with the crew nor the status Captain Sanders. When myself and the marines of the Alpha squad, Bravo Company, 3rd Extra Vehicular Tactical division boarded the [LN]-LNS-Harris we found allot of laser scaring and battle damage along the hull as well as a few fires. We entered and we divided up to cover sections of the ship. Corporal Decker went to the bridge with Privates Ascot and Hernandez went up the the Bridge. Technical Specialist Ohms, PFC. Hague and PSC. Bester went down to the engine room, I took Master Sargent Anne along with the rest of the squad to secure the rest of the ship. Scans before entry said there was no vitals aboard and upon our short search confirmed that, limited though it was. Decker and his men could not reach the bride because of some fallen bulkheads and a sealed door. My team secure the top deck of the ship. we moved onto the second when Ohms radioed in that the engines where going to go critical. On that i made the judgement call to pull our men back to the [LN]-LLS-Arleigh Burke. We managed to get back to the Burke in time. Private Sebastian had a close call, the Harris' engine section detonated when he was entering the airlock and his EVA suit took some shrapnel but no injury to the person itself. At this point we have not been able to confirm if the computer core got taken and/or/has been breached. But given that there was a defector its entirely possible and we should assume the computer core has been breached.
I have already gone to the the measure of installing a new encryption system aboard the [LN]-LNS-Blue Ridge, [LN]-LLS-White Mage and [LN]-LLS-Arleigh Burke. "Herd" Ships this new encryption system will be mandatory for "Herd" transmission, so get it installed next time you pull into Norfolk.
I agree and support the order for scout ships to be assigned to our logistics vessels when they leave our borders. As we know there's been a surge in hostile activity outside our borders and i would much like our ships to be better protected.

Greetings, Admirals.
I am Lt. Commander Alice Richardson, Flight Deck Supervisor on the Battleship Missouri. I wish I were contacting you today with better news.
One of your pilots, a [color=#33FF33]Lieutenant (JG) James Lambert, left the Missouri earlier today on a routine patrol in his "Guardian" class Very Heavy Fighter. He was picked up near West Point on scanners but was then lost after pursuing an unknown craft into the Badlands. A short time later, our listening post picked up the following message on an open comm channel:
It has currently been over five hours since that last transmission from Mr. Lambert was picked up, with no further transmissions received from him. However, we did also pick up an increased level of chatter from Rogue elements in the Badlands around the same time as the distress signal.
Considering it is now well beyond the late arrival period for Mr. Lambert's patrol, we are officially declaring him to be MISSING IN ACTION and presumed to be dead or captured by the enemy.
If any more information about this incident comes to our attention, we will be sure to send it your way. We share your sorrow at the loss of another fine Primary Fleet officer to the enemy.
