Why are we whining about this? I used to make scripts too.Made scripts for phpBB in the past. (FIXED TONS OF BUGS IN THAT BLOODY FORUM SCRIPT THEN) i made a fully configurable stats script for battlefield 2. yeah game is almost as old as this game. but i made that script first year the game came out. It was lots of work. but i did it. And yes peeps told me at first you wont make it work as official ranked. but shall i say this to you. i did. Could even do more with my script. and if i look at the latest bf3 battlelog site. most functions i had with my bf2 script allready! never released it for the public but hell why should i?

It takes long to develop something. and to ballence it is mostly a pain. I am sure that if i want to create some new ship. and if i am going to sit for it. it takes me at least. well lets say a week to make. and then it isn't even finisht. as i am a perfectionist. For this reason i didn't even try to do so. the sig im using. is like 8 years old. you see how sharp? then you didn't have lolwut programs like nowadays with instant click and tada you are finisht and sharp picture etc. So please give some respect.

Meanwhile, the community can continue enjoying the mod as it advances and puts more features in for players to enjoy, in a nice balanced way.
Since y'know, 4.82 was incredibly well balanced, full of features and developed for a community of hundreds.

Fun thing is that if a community members rails at the developers, that's perfectly fine. It's expected to be honest.

I hope so too. And I have to admit he was persistent at getting our input and ideas for the story and all that. So definitely kudos to Friday for getting others involved in the story making.

- BS turrets on a transport
- Tizzies on everything
- Crappy lawful guns
- No cap shields
- No faction ships
- No cruise drain
- No Gallia
- No mining bonuses
- No guards (IIRC)
- No jumpdrive/playerbases/etc
- No bitching.... hey wait...

No, the -majority- of the playerbase isn't worth even talking to. I have my group of friends that play here. Everyone else can go bone themselves, quite frankly.

Funnily enough, I don't put much stock in their opinions.

It is the devs mod, they can do what the damn well please with it. If you don't like it, leave.
If people leave because of their changes, the devs have to choices; wake up or let the mod die.
Neither would be a terrible idea.

EDIT: and kaiwrens 'i'm too lazy to learn myself like the devs did but you won't teach me so how will i help the mod' just makes me worry for humanity
