Hm, I am used to better interaction with your guys. Actually... any interaction is better than what the Java encounter was.

On undock on a Nyx for some pews, seconds later even before I can type my sentence: "2 mil or die" in the "rp version", then "2millordai" in the lolwut version. Then firing commences. Docking protecting is still on and I dock again. Followed by random systemwide semi-irp messages.

Bit weak, imo.

We just had killed half of Tau-23 and you undocked to talk about the weather with the Samarrans?

We basically at that point had nothing to discuss with any off you since we had been shot by everyone in like , ~10 mins prior your undocking.

not only too short but if the story is true the engagement was way too fast too, the person had no time to respond to the demand. (not unless you think Assyria's sunrise thinks the person he is roleplaying with can type a response in 1 second)

There is no rule preventing fast engagement after roleplay.

The rule you have in mind is preventing destruction before allowing sufficient time to respond or meet the demand which is not applied here since victim wasn't destroyed.
