This news about the Normandie is...disturbing. Very disturbing.
The Office of Naval Intelligence will spearhead the Reconnaissance Flotilla into the system known as "Magallen" and set up a beachhead. The main fleet will be mobilizing from it's position in Languedoc soon enough, with the mighty Oubli at it's head. Colonel Chasseur has been placed in command of this vessel.
Now. As for...this...betrayal.
The Normandie has turned. I want the bravest of you to ready your bombers. I want boarding craft ready.
Storm the Normandie until the halls run with the blood of traitors.
Bring me the head of it's captain...even if the head is of Alice DeFrance.
Go. Bring the wrath of Gallia down onto Leeds, onto Magellan.
Onto the Normandie.

Adelaide Roux, Marquise of Orleanais

"So that's where the Normandie has disappeared to. While I highly want to doubt our own Royal Family had a traitor in it's midst... I feel we can't just sweep it under the rug. Prince Joseph will surely hear about this it in due time, however, I want it kept under wraps until we know more about the situation that recently presented itself.
This isn't something I can sit ideal knowing. I want all of my forces ready to move on a moments notice, we're taking the Normandie down..."

[font=Lucida Console]Agent Manticore here.
I have proceeded deep into Bretonian home space in order to gather intelligence on the systems assigned by the Assistant Directeur. To ensure that I am able to report my findings to you in a timely manner, and also to provide protection of my data against some form of compromise, I have deployed a Hermes buoy in each system I've visited. The buoys have been programmed to accept my data transmissions and store them until such time I decide they're complete enough to send to you. At that point they will communicate system-to-system back down the chain to Orkey, where they will be securely forwarded onto you through normal channels. The Hermes relay buoys are tiny and virtually undetectable by shipboard scanners, and I have taken care to place them far out of the way of any system traffic.
Now, on to my report. I have completed a sweep of the Cambridge and New London systems without serious incident.
This is the Cambridge system. Note the jumpholes to Leeds and New London. There is a jumpgate to another system along the tradelane to the east side of the map, but I determined it leads to a system called "Omega-3", which is outside of Bretonia proper.
The following are bases located in the system:
PLANET CAMBRIDGE
Ownership: Bretonian Police
Notes: A true beauty of a world that seems to be very habitable, and long-range scans picked up a large number of lifeforms on the surface. However, there was less human comm traffic than would be expected of such a world, and there was also a strange section of one of the continents that was devoid of life almost entirely.
Value: High
CAMBRIDGE RESEARCH STATION
Ownership: Cryer Pharmaceuticals
Notes: The name indicates a research installation of some kind, and it was located a bit out of the way of regular planetary traffic. There were some large power sources detected within the station, and it seems possible that it might be a location for some kind of weapons development.
Value: High
BATTLESHIP NORFOLK
Ownership: Bretonian Armed Forces
Notes: Not surprising to find a Bretonian battleship guarding their southern border. It is worth noting as a possible strategic reserve for future battles. However, so long as it remains here it is not a threat to the Leeds offensive.
Value: Low
CARDIFF MINING FACILITY
Ownership: IMG
Notes: Apparently there are some mineral resources in the system, as our friends the IMG have set up what seems to be a major hub. I was unable to determine what exactly they are mining here, but based on the number of ships coming and going from the station, it seems to be a fairly lucrative operation.
Value: Medium
And here we have the New London system, capital of Bretonia. Note the large number of both jump gates and jump holes, connecting this system to the rest of the Bretonian core. Most of the fields contained cordoned-off sections housing dangerous explosive gasses, which is a danger not to be taken lightly in any sort of assault on this system.
The following are bases located in this system:
PLANET NEW LONDON
Ownership: Bretonian Police
Notes: The capital world of Bretonia, I picked up space and planetary traffic suitable for such a designation. The planet seemed to have an abnormally high concentration of natural clouds in the atmosphere, but I'm not sure whether that's normal or a random occurrence. There was also a high amount of pollution detected. Scans indicated a large amount of human activity, but substantially lower than I would have guessed. My conclusion is that the planet's population is several orders of magnitude lower than that of Planet New Paris.
Value: Very High
WATERLOO STATION
Ownership: Interspace Commerce
Notes: An Interspace trade hub in orbit of New London. Seems to generate a lot of trade traffic in the space around the planet, indicating a key trade hub.
Value: High
THAMES OUTPOST
Ownership: BMM
Notes: Due to the fact that I only saw BMM vessels near and docking on the base, I believe this to be a corporate headquarters and possible transshipment point for BMM vessels in New London orbit.
Value: Low
MALAHIDE STARPORT
Ownership: Unknown
Notes: Located at the Dublin Jump Gate, and did not broadcast a clear IFF. I would assume it to be a trade hub and storage point for ore hauled from the Dublin system.
Value: Low
KING'S CROSS STATION
Ownership: Bowex
Notes: Located at the Cambridge Jump Gate, it broadcast a Bowex IFF, but also saw some traffic from BMM vessels. Several weapons platforms indicate a major trading hub and scans indicated what could be a research annex as well.
Value: Medium
MOLLY DESTROYER
Ownership: Mollies
Notes: A Molly capital asset parked near the Cambridge jump hole. Scans indicated the ship was equipped with docking bays.
Value: Low
SOUTHAMPTON SHIPYARD
Ownership: BMM
Notes: A very large shipyard that presumably houses the Bretonian Armed Forces' capital ship construction and refit center. Obviously a high-value target.
Value: Very High
KENSINGTON SHIPPING PLATFORM
Owner: Gateway Shipping
Notes: A trade hub belonging to Gateway Shipping. Seems to draw a lot of trading traffic.
Value: Medium
CANTERBURY STATION
Owner: Planetform, Inc
Notes: A small station next to Kensington. Seemed to be both a smaller trade hub and R&D center.
Value: Medium
TRAFALGAR BASE
Owner: Junkers
Notes: A small base near the Leeds Jump Hole. Could be a useful forward outpost if the Junkers cooperate.
Value: Medium
ILFRACOMBE BASE
Owner: Unknown
Notes: This station was small and provided no identifying information. It is located near Trafalgar Base and the Leeds Jump Hole.
This concludes my report for the time being. Next I will gather information on the Manchester and Magellan systems according to my current orders.

"Recently, my sister was captured by the Liberty Navy, an assignment I ordered her on to find the Normandie and Princess Alice DeFrance. We're currently unaware of her condition and position, however the last transmission was sent from the Provence in the system known as 'California.' The crew of the Provence were given clear instructions to take cyanide pills upon capture of the Provence, so we'll only be mounting a rescue operation for one person.
This operation doubles as a second operation as well, if the Normandie appears, we will be taking it down. Regardless if my sister is onboard or not."
Family is important. Sacrificing your sister should be the last thing on your mind. Yes, sacrifices must be made, but the least you can do is attempt to be in sorrow when saying we might need to kill your sister.
Everyone else;
I need all willing vessels to prepare to move out. Colonel Chasseur will be taking command of the rescue fleet. We will plan this, and then inform you of the time of this mission.
That will be all.

This is my sister, my responsibility. Not some wanna-be hero boy, and you cannot insult my family for the serving the crown, nor can you tell me not to do something that was tactically sound and didn't get your invasion fleet's leading officer captured. I would have went myself, but the knowledge I hold could turn the tide of the war. My sister knows nothing but what I told her, if I know my history - and I pride myself with it - she would be treated well within Liberty.
I sent her with the task of finding out if Princess DeFrance was indeed still alive, she knew the risks, and she knew that I would be sending men to get her. My sister trusts me more than I trust you, I think I know what I'm doing."
Aubert Giroux, one time member of the Royal Navy and presumed dead...is fairly alive. At least transponder and voice identification indicates this. He is now flying council colors. That's another
defection to chalk up, and I wonder at this string of betrayal.
There is no guncam footage as it malfunctioned, but I'm sure of what I saw.

Languedoc has experienced rather odd events recently. This patrol turned to be no different than the last. A Royal Officer (Rank Unknown) Garde Fronbere hailed my support from deep inside the Lozere Asteroid Field. His initial patrol began with tracking simple smugglers (Names Unknown). These smugglers he claims departed Planet Quillan carrying a mass quantity of contraband. Evenly, the smugglers linked up with an Order "Resheph" Reconnaissance Cruiser. This cruiser had been attempting to evade his tracking systems using the asteroid field. Responding as quickly as possible I engaged my cruise engines in an attempt to intercept. I was successful. After disengaging the cruiser's cruise engines I continue to interrogate it's captain. No information could be recovered it was obvious he was highly trained. At most that could be recovered was the ship name Solaria.
We engaged swiftly in an attempt to disabled his ship. In a desperate attempt to escape massive energy spikes caused the Solaria to lose its defensive weaponry preventing any resistance. With our location isolated and jammers continuing to deny any communication with reinforcements. Our assault against our foreign enemy proved to be time consuming. When nearing its destruction the Solaria's Captain ordered a suicide run into Languedoc. Any information regarding Gallia or the Order was destroyed. I recommend patrols be highly vigilant when encountering these infiltrators. After losing contact my patrol ended with a simple warning to a Freelancer flying an unauthorized transport.

[color=#C0C0C0]Sous Lieutenant Cassel, Reporting.
An unauthorized structure appeared to have been constructed outside Planet Bourges near Vierzon Mining Facility violating Gallic Law regarding station radius restrictions. The station's owner appears to have submitted a permit before or during my disposing this structure. His permit had not been authorized by High Command and he continued bypass to Gallic law on his own accord. I end my report with the structure La Charite Space Port's destruction. Due to faulty Guncam the base's destruction couldn't be recorded but I can assure the base is no longer present.
