Well, so long as your kinsmen don't attempt to emulate the actions of a terrorist, and Terrorist ID you could fill the slot of Xenos quite well in my humble opinion. By that I mean random and unprovoked PvP, no declaration of hostile intent, random selection of targets as well as shooting almost anything in sight. All be it those are the marks of a bad terrorist I still felt obligated to warn of this, while I do like your attitude and stance you have taken I still feel a twinge of worry over your description of your pilots, and the apparent need of some for a sedative after losing a PvP. Never the less if you follow the rules, keep them in check and play nice you will make a fine addition to Discovery.

Oh, and welcome. Watch out for all this nonsense talk of zoo faring cannibalistics and communists. :P

I wouldn't judge my brothers based off my failed attempts at humor or the lack of a sense of humor. My brothers are very good at completing the tasks presented to them. We all have a sense of responsibility for each other and the honor of our clan. If our chosen faction dictates communication we will do so, If a given situation can be handled without arms it will be handled in that way. If our faction mandates your death...we will reap it..or die trying... either way with TRIAD you will know what to expect.

Sorry bro no member is in check by anyone, it's called selective recruiting. after reading this thread they will know their limitations and act accordingly. none of us have to be watched by some other member, no member of TRIAD has any influence over the next. We see it as the ability to make decisions in a responsible way. When a member loses that ability he is tossed out of TRIAD and they don't return. Granted we are all different, but we all have a clear direction that we all travel together.

While I really do appreciate what you are saying, and the trust you put in your members to follow the rules and adhere to the task resented to them I still think my concerns were valid, I also don't appreciate the implication that I am humourless simply because of comment on some of your members made them to sound as if they cannot stand to lose. I stand by what I said, but I also respect your feelings towards your members, where is a faction without trust?

Just be wary, one bad seed can ruin it for every one.

Ya anyway, let's see what we got here. Tr|ad is it? Well, can't say I've forgotten you boys can I. Memories aren't so fun, and I'm not only thinking about my own, but many others. Let me give every Discovery member a little history lessons, not that I'm trying to shoot Tr|ad down, but it's always good to look back at the "good old times".

Tr|ad is a faction from Void, when they first started off they were all actually pretty alright, fitting in and all that. Soon enough though they started becoming some of the most hated players on Void. Their attitudes were horrible, no sense of fair play, and caused a hell of a lot of players to leave Void all together.

Now, to bring back their Discovery history, Oh yes they have Discovery history. During one of Void's mod releases, they under went server problems. Want to know what happened? Tr|ad and a few other Void factions/players came here. Everything I said above they brought here, most of them were either sanctioned/banned and left back for Void or other servers. Yes, those times made such brilliant memories. /sarcasm

So, that's history. What's happening now? You guys actually seem to be trying, or one of you is. You may be getting along all nice, but I have no faith in your members at all. Oh and no, this wasn't an invatation for you to prove me wrong, it was kinda me showing you the door. But I'm no admin, guess I can't do that officially. You main point of the goal is the PvP as much as you can? Go to the PvP server, here on the RP we try to put Roleplay before even thinking about PvP. If you want to even think about fitting in you're gonna have to do the same (oh and I suggest coming up with a new name as well, for all the reasons I said above.)

lol my first post was a 7am....it's not 12:53pm... and I played all night... thats an indication of the dedication I have to my clan mates and to my seriousness in what I'm saying to you guys.. the TRIAD's also have that type of dedication to each other. In reality we are not concerned about not being able to RP on this or any other server. The biggest issue would be if one of the TRIAD's let the other TRIAD's down..and brought shame to the clan.

Now will that happen one day.. hell yeh it's happened before... but your house is made of glass to..so before you check us check you back window..

I can't say whats going to happen in the future. What I can say is TRIAD will make every attempt represent it's self as a reputable clan

DBoy I'm gonna set you straight now. You ask any admin to look in the logs and see how many TRIAD's where banned off this server, the answer will be none. TRIAD has never gone through a mod release except the mod that was released last week, your speeking of DTA not TRIAD. We don't take responsibility for any other faction. Yes Our attitudes changed as result of us being attacked because of our affiliation with DTA. fighting 3 vs 1 was common for us as we where small and elite, Thorn and I would regularly fight 10 on 2. We got so good at it we didn't even bother with 1 on 1 anymore. It didn't help that Xenon sicked his dogs on us and we beat them, as a matter of fact we beat everyone. And seems I remember beating the heck out of you too. So if you where a victim because we wouldn't bow do to 8 to 1 odds.. we make no apologies, nor do we apologies for our success at your failures. So if your mad at TRIAD because we ran you off a PVP server.. get over it. but dont lie on TRIAD because you have some vendetta...all your doing is getting us recruits.

I thought I had remembered seeing TR|AD here on Disco before. As I remember it didnt go so well. Well I for one am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt.

I would caution that making PvP your primary goal here is not going to set well with most. You should be RPing to RP, not just throwing some RP out there to justify PvP battle after PvP battle.

I must say, I am impressed with the way you are attempting to handle your transition here Cobra. There have been some miserably failed attempts in the past (anyone remember DIC).

My only advice:
1. Keep your nose clean, understand you will probably be under strict scrutiny for a while.
2. Do your best to fit in here, do not expect us to confirm to your style.
3. Do what you can to add to others fun as well as your own. See PvP for PvP's sake ruins a lot of folks heres fun, while selfishly creating fun for yourself. I would say that is the numero uno faux pas here in Discovery.
