While on brief patrol of Honshu today, I encountered a Bounty Hunter destroyer, callsign [Core]Verloc. Scan of vessel revealed the unusual presence of six Liberty Navy pilots. I requested that the Verloc liberate the pilots at earliest convenience, and he immediately transferred the pilots to my care. I delivered them to New Tokyo for processing and repatriation to Liberty.
Scans of several trade ships in Honshu and New Tokyo revealed nothing of concern.

Reporting back from RnR. Me was very surprised, when been informed about a promotion to Lieutenant from our Grand Admiral personally. A great honour. May our godfather give me the wisdom and skills not to fail the responsibilities of the new rank. Never i will disappoint the faith, our glorious shogun and the people of Kusari have given me, with this promotion.
(Finally i can join all other officers in the Blossom Tea Room :))
Taking off from Akita I was informed about a Corsair attack force in the system. I took the trade lane to the Sigma 13 jump hole and half way down and I detected 2 Gunboats and 3 Bombers.
I immediatelly radioed back to Akita and Akamoto launched to support me. But before he came to my location one of the bombers fell to my guns.
After Akamoto's arrival we focused on one of the gunboats. He was heavily damaged when he suddenly accelerated to an impossible speed and simply disappeared. The second gunboat was our next target and it soon felt to our combined firepower:
The last two bombers started to flee, we pursued them and managed to destroy one more of them:
We followed the last one to the Sigma 13 system, but lost him when he jumped to Sigma 17. Two new Corsairs ship were however waiting at the Sigma 17 jumphole.
They refused my orders to leave the system and started shooting on our ships. we opened fire and one of them exploded in a matter of seconds:
The second one took some heavy damage, but managed to jump to Sigma 17 and cruise out of range. We set course back home, but near Gas Miner Naha a new Corsair ship appeared on scanners. Strangely enough it had similar signature to the one that was just destroyed. However as first shots flew by Akamoto's Chimaera there was no time to investigate. After a short fight this ship was destroyed as well:
While I was on patrol in Honshu today a trader expressed concerns about his safety in the Sigma 13 system. Another trader passing in the opposite direction confirmed his worst fears when he report presence of multiple pirate vessels in the system. I agreed to escort the trader as far as Gas Miner Naha.
When we came out of the trade lane at Naha there were 2 Corsair and 3 Outcast ships fighting around the station. I ordered all of them to leave the area, but they didn't respond and kept fighting. The Outcasts managed to drive off the Corsairs while I was keeping an eye on the traders between the trade lanes.
After that the Outcasts turned their attention to my ship and explained that they will not enter Kusari if I leave them.
Off course I could not trust the word of a drug addict pirate, so I decided the best way to ensure that they don't come to Kusari will be do destroy their ships. An CR transport came to range and started firing on them, but the pirates focused on my ship. This was their biggest mistake and they were destroyed one by one.
As soon as the area was secured I returned back to Honshu.

While on patrol today in Honshu, I heard and located a Dragon whom was attempting to pirate an innocent trader. I quickly opened fire before he could complete the deed, giving the transport enough time to run off. Hikari handled his bomber well, and was proving to be a challenge.
As the fight progressed, a Freelancer in an IMG gunboat came and began shooting at the bomber, but was quickly disposed of when a second Dragon with another bomber came. Now it was myself against Hikari, and Miagi-San. Akita was witnessing quiet a battle, but things were about to change.
Another bomber by the name "RazorMind" came onto scanners accompanied by a Mandelorian Blood Dragon fighter and the Kana Keiko!? I was quite flattered that the Dragons brought an entire fleet for one ensign. I quickly weighed my options, as I didn't have much time.
As the Kana Keiko's guns began to blaze I made for Hiroshima with great haste, as planned, they followed. I hailed Battleship Sado, as I jumped in. She quickly began pounding the Kana Keiko and it wasn't long before she fled, due to her shields nearly falling. The Kana Keiko's fleet followed her home as well.
Sadly, the only noticeable damage done to the Novas was to their pride, but no damage was done to my ship either, and the trader got away safely.

Today while patrolling Shikoku system with my chimaera I was engaged in fight by a small fleet of Mandalorians mercenaries.
I tried to disable at least one of their fighters, badly damaging it, and kept them in fight for few minutes before ejecting.
They claim to be fullfilling a contract but there is no proof so far of any kind of payment.
Later the same mercs fleet on the hunt, surprised and disabled the destroyer of our Deputy Defense Minister Ashi Tebayai in Honshu.
Ens. Tigon was on his way to randevous with Tebayai but I ordered to retreat in New Tokyo, there was nothing that could be done.
Time will give us another time to strike.
During debriefing I have read a report about our minister Tebayai, he was rescued along with other survivors and he is in the hospital, minor wounds.
I somehow suspect he is an hard man to kill.
Routine reports of trading activity in New Tokyo, Honshu, Kyuhsu and Shikoku.
Mostly diamonds, some vips and light arms.
Minor NovaPG activity in Chugoku.
Today KNF forces successfully escorted a specially modified Kishiro transport with huge shielded cargo bay, carrying plutonium to a Molly base. The transport was loaded completely full with Gold for the return journey.
No Bretonian forces were sighted and the whole operation went without any problems.

Yesterday, Commander Sakai led another successful Plutonium shipment to the Molly base. This time we used 2 Transports, escorted by fighters. It was also the first time, an Molly vessel of the Union Of Gold gave additional escort from Dublin to Newcastle.
Note: Seems the Molly's have seen the truth and start to regret the help they gave to set up the minefield around Harris.
In Edinburgh we had some BPA vessels on our long range scanners, but they were showing some wisdom by not engaging our convoy. So we arrived at the Molly base without problems and soon returned to Kusari with another shipment of gold for our shipyards.
On the way back i made a nice screenshot for my personal album.
While on patrol we received a word about a Corsair pirate in the Shikoku system. We caught a glimpse of him on our scanners near planet New Tokyo. He was running towards the Kyushu system.
I finally reached his ship at Kyushu jump gate and as I was coming out of the trade lane he tried to pirate a trader right in front of me!
I quickly aimed and hit the firing button, his shields went down in an instant. Realizing he has no chance he quickly jumped to Kyushu and proceeded to run from our forces trough Hokkaido, Chugoku and Tohoku.
I suggest that all these Corsair pirates are declared kill on sight in all Kusari space.
Sakai out
