Oh hoho, my dear Admiral. Calling me in for the peaceful negotiations, and then trying to quietly assassinate me far from the eyes of civillian and military personnel? And failing at even such a trivial mission?


Where the hell was your Flagship? I've personally equipped Niflherim (that was the name, if I remember correctly) with all required hardware from Krupp back then, as a gift for Joachim. With our own resources. I'd be proud to fall in battle against that ship... not sure if I'd like it with you at the Captain's Bridge, though.

Sorry for scaring you, but I didn't like the idea of my baby falling apart. Had to put few Cerberus projectiles into your cruiser (I hope I didn't manage to penetrate shields and didn't harm anyone?) to push you a little further away from my engine section, that you've made so much holes in. I should give it to you, though, you almost got me. Almost.

Mattias was sitting in his seat at the bridge of the Ruhr, reading the transcripts of these remarkable New Berlin system-wide broadcasts. Something just wasn't right. He wasn't sure whether or not to reach out and broadcast a message himself, but something had to be done. The evidence of the HC attempting to assassinate one of their own was overwhelming - he knew he wasn't the only one who would think twice before following HC directives from this point on. What was their real agenda?

It had been two decades since the Nomad War with all its betrayal. Back then, the military was split too, with one side attacking the other. It's happening again. Maybe the Nomad infestation had rooted itself, perhaps the infected had just been hiding themselves, slowly edging their way closer to seats of power?

Of course, this was all conjecture and he would need concrete evidence to take any form of action, but these pirates, known terrorists and even self-proclaimed Cardamine addicts publicly supporting the Rheinwehr HC's embarassing assassination attempt made his spider sense tingle. This was a serious concern. He reached forward and hovered his finger above the communication device's "Send" button for a couple of seconds before pressing it and speaking into the device's microphone:
