' Wrote:I'm not sure that I find this to be encouraging, since I see BDM| ships in New York (and yes, even in front of Manhattan), all the time...But, you know, I guess it's whatever.
The BDM| has a section of it which is basically submarines in space, u-boats. They're meant to be in New York and the such, shooting mostly trade vessels. Disrupting trade, the economy, industry, etc as best as they can.
Now, they should NOT by any means be in front of Manhattan. If you would, please send evidence to me or another member of the BDM| HC, it's the quickest way to fix this issue, as I personally don't like that either.
I also don't really see eye-to-eye with the whole "He did it so I should do it too to get back at him!" argument. All that does is escalate things.
I met an LR and an LN at manhatten. The LR seemed to be telling the LN her life story, and forbidding other people to attack them. At the end, after ages, the LN let the LR go right in front of all his buddies.
I have to say this doesnt seem very INRP.

oh man, you'd be appalled to see what the LN did tonight then.:D
In all honesty, most of the time [LN] does pulverize LR. That is an...unique encounter. And I'm not sure why you're bothered enough to dig out MDs and kudos posts for it? Is talking to someone what flashes red a sin these days ?

Being a bit nosey here but... why was this guys base rights revoked?
It seems that on the 16th his base was approved, then today when some random Freelancer discovered it for the first time he told the LN and they suddenly revoked the rights?
There is no evidence that the Outcast Battleship has anything to do with the base, so why punish the base who went about getting his base approved?
I've no affiliation with anyone involved but from an outside point of view it seems rather "mean."
Or is there more to the story that we don't see? Thanks
The rights weren't revoked by a member of the [LN], but by a person who's part of the "Liberty Government" group. (Which is made up of members from the faction leadership of all the main Libertonian factions)
However, the revocation happened because the [LN] person who granted permission in the first place, didn't have the authority to do so, and acted without a "Go ahead" from anyone else.
Personally, I think the revocation should have happened sooner, so that things like what happened tonight, don't happen quite this way.
