but from my perspective its like this: two groups of players meet, shoot and have fun. the outcome isnt always in one particular side's favour, and because "the script" says this particular side should be winning, a few players choose to cause a big fuss and feel justified to dismiss every event thereupon as "oorp", clinging to straws for some way of putting an end to it by any means possible (this thread for instance).

Fact of the matter is that noone breaks any rules, New York works as excellent staging grounds (factions like Outcasts and Corsairs can't count themselves this lucky) and if you don't feel like fighting no one is forcing you. There are many ways you could win through team work, if you put in the effort.

But to discourage your indies and causing all this bad karma is simply just counter-productive. I like raiding you guys, I like getting killed by you guys, I don't like being labelled and treated with disrespect when I have done absolutely nothing wrong.

also dudes, the screenshots and such - why not resort to rp? submit reports in-rp, cause a diplomatic crisis. and well ships - have you checked the number of bnoses/threshers/bullheads/canopeners/mantas flying under LN ID? It's a trait of the new tech system, deal with it.

Theres quite a few of various reports of Kusari ships under RM papers (Both thier BS and BC) as well as reports from BAF attacking RNC around FP4 in Magellan. These are obvious if you know where to look.

As for the frankly OORP locations we've started having to fight the RNC. Heres one for you:

The truth of the matter is these fights arn't fun in the slightest anymore.
If you'd told me a Month ago the RNC were invading Texas my response would have been "Great! I'll get the BS!". You tell me that they're invadeing right now? My response would be "Again? I'll only log if atleast 5 others log as well." Its not just me either.

We're not discouraging anyone from logging. In fact it was clearly the opposite and we tried to get people to log but meanwhile...

We were also following that pattern, when RF was sieging New friggin Berlin with their Jorm fleet.
Well, back then we had stuff to defend, so we were trying to use bomber force when we were too small in numbers.
