Today, I've been scouting Coronado and Baffin only discover something that urgently requires the attention of Overwatch. What looks like a ancient jumpgate, like the one linking Minor and Major. Closer examination show's it is definitely Nomadic technology. My scans were interrupted by Rheinland fighters that attacked without warning using nomadic weapons, definitely Wilde. I thought I should get permission from Overwatch before attempting to scout out the otherside of this jump gate.
I'm currently docked at Barrier Gate, in a secure docking wing, I'm holding four possible infectees and a bounty hunter in my cargo hold, rest assure they haven't been detected by docking officials.
Foley here, reporting from Transport vessel Papyrus.
Two matters of note:
One is the sighting of a Freelancer identified Hathor class gunboat. How the man got his hand on one of those
cannot be determined. Probably salvaged from Minor. In any event, I suggest we keep an eye on him and
bring him in for questioning if he's seen again. The name was Legitimate.Trader
Also, While running to the freeport, I saw an interesting meeting going on, between a Reaver callsigned
Sangria and Jared Nomak, who we know all too well. While I couldn't determine just what they were talking
about...some sort of guns and shipments, I think. Nothing good can come of this meeting though.
In reply to captain Foley and to pass on some information in general about the SR pilot Jared Nomak.
These raiders have always accompanied Oracle Shrines, and Exarchs on many secret operations. It was common practice to wait for their escort. If you see an oracle vessel in the company of these raiders information should be reported immediately.
Also.. The SR have been in the company of Nomad War forms in force... I suspect because of the SR's nomadic origins and blind adherence to their "annunaki" that they are probably being trusted to do the dirty work the oracles do not.
Their activities and whereabouts are extremely important.
Over the past few days, I've been scouting Nomad installations around the systems Newcastle, Chester and Tau 117.
Tau 117 appears to be the Omega-58 system, on my return to the Omicrons I'll be sure to check Omega 58. If my readings are correct then the jumpgate towards the centre of the system brought everything here from Omega 58, using the energy from the nomad power cell. I only encountered one scout, I managed to keep my head completely low. The depleted jump gate at the centre of the system has began recharging, and is heavily defended, there may however be something of value near the centre of the jump-gate, it's heavily defended.
I met some Gaians in Newcastle, who pointed me the direction of some wreckage in the very south-east corner of Newcastle. The wreckage is defiantly human in origin, with some Bretonian fighter wrecks around. The size of this station must've been huge, unfortunately though I couldn't gather much information. The only functioning part of the wreckage was four weapon platforms intertwined with nomad technology. It might be worthwhile sneaking some of our boys from OSD in to take a better look.
While on a flight around the Taus, I happened upon some Gallic Royalists and Bretonian Armed Forces. I avoided the fight for awhile, but after awhile, their gunboat hide and endangered the safety of Java.
He died.
Actually, he ran like a scared puppy. But that's beside the point.
After avoiding the fight and returning to Orkney, we were accosted by one Casimir Logarus-san, who told us a high ranking officer of the Royal Navy, Leon Chevalier, has defected. Before I could learn more, he was called away due to Royalist activity in Tau 23. I then landed on Dounby with J'ay and Anthony Wilson.
I was on a flight in Leeds with Agent Miyoko, when the Gallic Royal
Navy decided to launch an attack. I attempted to take some close
range shots of the Valor class vessels they were deploying...
but my guncam glitched out, seems. Looks like you don't owe me
a beer after all, Jay.
Anyways, me and Miyoko were observing the fight at a safe distance,
when two Coalition vessels, a fighter and a bomber showed up.
They introduced themselves as Premier Katya Vaschenko and
General Erik Meier. I can appreciate someone who leads from the front...
anyways.
We talked for a short while, while watching the fight unfold. I learned
a couple of things from that...
the Coalition seems to have signed a Non Aggression pact with the
Bretonian Fleet Admiral. As far as I could see, that might even be right.
No bretonians were chasing them down...I'm guessing the feral
dog barking at their gates is getting people to unite. Who'd have thought
it?
Secondly, the Coalition Premier is apparently lesbian.
After our 'discovery' deep in the Omega systems, instead of heading back with the majority or the fleet present back to Mu, I retreated with the OCV Bastet towards Omega 49 for emergency repairs. Should've thought this though better, turns out the damage to our jump drive is pretty extensive, worse then our engineer thought.
Now OSI's on site engineers and techs aren't experienced enough to handle our technology, despite this ships Zoner origins. Turns out they're damn good at fixing up transports and escort fighters, but not Order tech. Now we've got to wait until some guys from the Omicrons get here to fix us up because I won't trust any other engineer on this planet inside my craft that isn't one of OSI, or any other trusted allies best men, we'll probably be billed for their transport as well.
Thought this was important, this is the station that opened fire on me when scouting that jump hole during the mission, didn't have time to gather any data, and that thing gave us a pounding. One thing is for sure, Das Wilde is still in the Omegas.
Today I've made longer patrol then usually. And it was full of fun, to say so. Seems like I have finally meet those creatures. But back to report.
While I was checking Minor, some weird LSF guy contacted and told me about nomads flying in Zeta... How could he figure out he haven't mentioned... However I've checked the call. Haven't met anyone and went back to patrolling Minor. Then I've went to Alaska system, to finally visit Atum. After short pause in my patrol, I've decided to check if this damn base in New York near Zone 21 entrance still there. And you won't believe... I've meet Nomads! Those things have been shooting some navy warships. They were on several small crafts... Five I think. Since capital ships had no fighter support yet, I've decided that I have to assist there. Joined fight, manage to shot down one of their supposedly fighters, then switched on something that appeared to be a bomber. By that time LSF fighters started to appear one by one. We all manage to finish one more of those things. But right after that I noticed that totally outnumbered by their fighters. They could deal with remaining ships themselves, so I engaged cruise and went the hell out of there, before LSF remember that I am actually enemy in Liberty. Couldn't make any good picture of full nomad forces, however there are some files that might have some sense.
So, me and Ramir - I mean, Santos "Bolevara" Bolevara did some intel-gathering that didn't involve beds and pills. But it involved a abr.
So, we learned this group of pilots, called the 5th, have left the Bretonian Armed Forces and are fighting the Gallics on their own (apparently alone. I can put out feelers and see if that's true). They also are willing to work with us.
I must report some strange nomad activity in Liberty space. That wasn't surprise to meet them, but not in such numbers and on such 'ships'. I fought them while I could, however they brought one very heavy gun, so I've been forced to retreat. Manage to make some images, take a look:
I shall stay in Liberty space for a while to check the space. That seems strange, and better be ready for everything. Xenos base Ouray may be good place for hideout.
