I often see many of them lurking around in Connecticut. And I'm wondering if their "conn RP" is added to the activity tracker.
Now there's this "quite new" server rule regarding that topic. But even though I've often seen people logging their official faction tagged ships there doing training or whatever, and I've never seen any sanction thread for that rule yet.
Quote:8.4 Offical factions are obliged to balance Connecticut time with RP system time. Your primary duty is to play the RP role you elected to play not to spend all your time in Connecticut.
Not that I'd like to spam reports now. I'm rather a bit disappointed about official factions giving their members the permission to do pews in conn. Myself, I've almost never used the /conn command since that "feature" got added. And I know that this "no RP system"-topic is a sensitive one. However, in my opinion, if you really have to do stuff there, you should do it with untagged ships. Or even better - if you'd ask me: Remove the system from the mod.
InRP training is much funnier anyways. Still this is a RP server, and if people got the attitude of "RP < PVP", this is ought to be the wrong place. But sure - this is a game, and people like to have fun - so let them keep their toy. Fine by me - let Connecticut be as it is. But please think twice about logging tagged ships there. I'm just a bit sad about seeing more than 1/10 of the online players in said system.
I know that there have been such discussions before, however I felt like mentioning it once more now. And please don't turn this into a "remove Conn"-thread. Although, to be honest, I'd strongly appreciate a removal.
Meh, if you are in an organised group and want a brawl, contact an opposing faction and tell em to bring some ships. Nothing like a good, "for honor only" brawl to relax in.

While i feel your pain in this one, iam strictly agains "bann /conn for official faction members". Why? as poor fellas like me, whose only disco activity is in official faction(s) and spends about 2-3 h per month in conn i would really dislike having to spend 20 mil for a ship + 100 mil for those lousy codies just to get a training craft.
The rule you quote is a good one though and was made up for specific reasons and problems with some factions. What i would -love- to see is a hard rule on how much % of your ingame time may be spent on pewing in conn by a official faction...i would suggest something between 5-10%, no more.
As on training inrply.....well, if i want to train iwant to train. And it just happens that there is no training partner there or, like in my case you don't want to train against sair snail ships but proper tactics to use against ingame enemies...
So all in all /conn is a great addition, especially for quick and spontaneous training sessions, but yes- activity for the activity-o-meter shouldn't be really generated by it
Training in Connecticut is no different than training in equally ooRP guard system. I understand your objections, but I'm in pretty much that same situation as Rodnas is - I can't afford separate detagged ship for training purposes only. After all, this is space shooter, moreover, recently it's more PvP than RP server. While Connecticut trainings never were and never will be more than up to 10% of DHC's overall activity, we will continue training in that system as officially tagged ships.
