Almost too wonderful, as now I'm getting shot by gold ammo of tier VIII tanks. One such occasion involved a type 59 steadily penning the upper glacis plate from 100 m, while I unsuccessfully dinged away with the lb-1. Upgrading the gun is of highest importance, as this battle shows:
Many players who upgrade from the M18 Hellcat to the T25/2 consider the T25/2 as a worse tank than the Hellcat.
But if you play it like a heavier slower hellcat, that has more a support tank role than the attack/scout role the Hellcat excells in, it does very well.
So in my experience, when you play it like a heavier and slower Hellcat, supporting your heavies, it does very good. And its still fast enough to relocate from flank to flank like the Hellcat, when needed.

You know that sinking feeling when you realize that your team turned into a lemming train ? We've all had those kind of battles - yet sometimes a well chosen remark in the battle chat will make some of them realize the error of their ways, and start looking at their mini-map.
This battle was one of those cases., and fortunately turned out well, but if our team's medium tank platoon hadn't done so, this would have been a loss.
In other words : Be Tankers... Not Lemmings.

Nice to see french players following history. Germans rolled over them in WWII by flanking the pill box defence grid, and crushing them.
Some things just never change lol.
