"Buenas tardes. I'm inquiring if Corfu Base has vacant rooms and docking/mooring bays for purchase and ownership.
"Reasons?" The woman warmly smiles at the camera, "Well, I desire a resthouse that's quiet and far from prying eyes when I feel like taking a break from the hustle-and-bustle of Colony life. Also, my current residence is undergoing extensive... reservations, so I'm planning to use it 'till the repairs are finished.
"A Residential Unit for a small family of at most 4 people will do, preferably with a private bathroom. I also want to reserve a private docking bay, and a private mooring platform that could accommodate yacht-sized craft. Ideal price range for the whole set is 50-100M Credits, if possible."
She politely bows before continuing, "Please reply as soon as able. I've been a vagabond for a long time, and I desire to own a tract of real estate I could finally call my own, and Corfu looks to be the perfect place for me."
"... Yeesh. This is the 3rd time this week!" a Comm Officer on Freeport 9 swears under his breath as the same signal-boost catches his attention, and not only that, but this particular boost was apparently stronger than usual, forcing him to take off his headphones.
He frowns to himself, "Why doesn't that woman just go there herself and set up a direct meeting with the guy-in-charge? Shouldn't be that hard: the Omicron-Sigma Systems have been fairly-quiet as of late. Maybe I should send her that suggestion, see if that'll get the friggin' static to shut it.
"... Or maybe not," the officer looks to his sides, watching if anyone was observing him, "command would have my head for taking matters into my own hands.
"Still... It's also got me wondering why Corfu hasn't been responding by this time. Maybe I should at least direct this situation to command, see if they can give Corfu a heads-up or something." He inputs some commands onto his console, sending a short note to the FP9 administrator about Corfu not responding to a woman's repeated transmissions.

Goodevening Mrs Armand,
I am sorry to inform you that base administrator for Freeport 9 and Corfu base is currently unable to respond. He has suffered from an accident with a frying pan and is hospitalised on Gran Canaria.
Current day to day operations will continue through his assistant however the council of administrators of the Confederation of Freeports(CoF) will be dealing with any business proposals.
From what I have heard from the communications supervisor on Freeport 9 you are looking for an appartement with private mooring and docking capabilities on Corfu base is that correct? Something in the price range of 50 to 100 million credits in purchasing value.
Before the administrators can discuss your request we would like a few questions answered.
- Why specifically Corfu base and not a main Freeport?
Freeport 9 has more local amenities and is more centrally located yet within the same system.
- Is a life-long lease of the appartement an option for you instead of true ownership?
Looking forward to your reply,
Kind Regards,
Dali Lama

"Buenos dias, and muchas gracias for replying to my long-ignored message, Señor Lama... or is it Señorita? Lo siento, the transmission you sent couldn't clarify, so I'll assume it's señor. Also, please send my condolences to the admin(s) of Freeports 9 and Corfu base, and my prayers for their speedy recovery." The woman bows politely at the camera.
"To answer your questions:
1.) I said in my initial message that I don't desire my private safehouse to be centrally-located. Far from it! I'm looking for an unfrequented place that's isolated, but close enough that I don't have to go 452312461234 jumps to get to the nearest hub.
Corfu seems perfect because it is peaceful, off-to-the-side, and if I need proper supplies then I can just fly to Freeport 9 in my freighter. Should you find a more ideal spaceport, however, I'm open for suggestions. -
2.) Technically, si, it's fine that I rent out the apartment and private docking and mooring bays instead of true ownership. But as I also said, I've been a vagabond for a long time, so a lease, even if it were life-long, still sounds like I don't really own my own slice of pie, does it? Or maybe it does, and it's just me getting all melodramatic... again, heheh." -
The woman warmly smiles at the camera, "I hope that satisfies the CoF's concerns, Señor Lama. If you have any further questions, feel free to tell me."
I'm so terribly sorry you've had to wait for so long.
I've had to visit one of Gran Canaria's hospitals after... one most unfortunate accident.
Now... to your questions.
Unfortunately, Corfu base was never really meant for accommodation. I would strongly suggest you renting one of our quarters on Freeport 9.
However, as you already mentioned you chose the Corfu specifically and as I still feel very bad for keeping you waiting that long, I can offer you something special.
As the administrator of both - Freeport 9 and Corfu, I have a small living quarter on each of these stations. But while the quarter i have on Freeport 9 is located close to my office there, the one on Corfu is placed a bit less fortunately. You see, it's only about twenty meters from Corfu bar while my office is located on the other side of the station. So you can imagine that I usually try to avoid such a temptation.
I was already considering renting that small apartament.
Normally, I would ask for no less than 130.000.000 sc for life-lease. However, I believe that I owe you something for keeping you in suspence for so long. Also, I think that Corfu will benefit from presence of such a charmful young lady as yourself. So my proposal is 65.000.000 sc for life-lease of said apartament.
Please let me know if you're still interested and I'll start preparing the necessary paperwork.

"Buenas noches, Señor Cogito, and congratulations on your speedy recovery from that accident. Indeed, many underestimate the potential of the simple frying pan's ability to wreak havoc, but with el presidente now here it just goes to show how resilient Zoners can actually be than what most people give credit for." The woman grins at the camera for a brief moment.
"Now as for the task at hand, I only have this to say about it..." She inhales a deep breath for a brief moment, and then exhales it long and slow, "... The price of 65,000,000 SC for the apartment sounds like a very good deal to me, especially considering that its closeness to the bar gives it an added bonus!
"I'll be coming to Corfu in a few days to personally inspect the apartment in detail. Please give me access to the apartment, its Residential Code, and any other unique features about it so that I may be well-prepared when I arrive, Señor Cogito."
She bows before the camera, "I hope the transaction will continue to go smoothly from here on out."
::: END TRANSMISSION :::
... Satisfied that she'd made sure the camera was now turned off, Jaden exhales another deep sigh to herself, and then suddenly explodes in a fit of ecstasy and jubilation, "BUENO!!!" She repeatedly thrusts an arm up into the air in a cheer, "Only veinte metros from the bar?! That's insane! This is MORE than bueno! This is muy, MUY bueno!!!"
Then her celebratory tone gets cut short as she began to think, "... Ay, I sure hope the apartment's light-years better than some air-leaky cesspit filled with all sorts of vermin due to neglect and misuse, like that purgatorio I rented in Trafalgar back on 816..." She starts shivering from the freakish memories of cat-sized vermin scampering about while she was sleeping, "Ewwwww... I still can't shake off that feeling one of those things could suddenly jump on top of my bed and start [A.D.M.I.N. censored] my face... YUCK!"
