I set out from Dresden yesterday to interdict RM near planet New Berlin. We came across ICO as usual, but of course it seems that they spend more of their profits upgrading engines and rear armor then firepower, more on that later. I was then engaged by a RN cruiser. After a short battle the ship was destroyed and I went on my way to resupply. A different RN cruiser decided to try and intercept me. He was responding to his comrades SOS. With half of my bots left I killed my engines and engaged the cruiser not wanting to draw it close to the Dresden Jump Hole. The second Cruiser was finished without major damage as well. Still with supplies on board, I turned to New Berlin again and was finally chased off after RM brought out its flagship to intercept.
A funny thing happened during all this, the local merchants where actually giving me intel on RM ships and allies. It seems to be just as we thought; our people are growing tired of RMs totalitarianism and are, for now, quietly rebelling against their rule. This gives great credit to our cause.
Now for the ICO. While the engineers where completing repairs to the old girl, I came into contact with some Outcast brothers over long range coms. It seems it was time to show Sirius the true nature of the corporation known as ICO. They have been invading our territory, interrupting our operations, and causing my crew general annoyance for too long. We gathered at Vogtland and after a long chase we caught them. We where severely outgunned and outclassed the largest ship we had was the Varyag to their battle cruiser and gunboat, the rest of our fleet was fighter class craft. I ordered all cannon to open fire and an interesting thing happened, they dispersed like roaches after about 45 seconds. Only one fighter remained to fight and was dispatched by the Outcast pilot named Nyx, her eagle made short work of the ravens talon. The rest of the ships either docked or ran.
Mission complete, we headed home for a celebration.
Also I was able to score about 6 more nomad guns off one of the RN cruisers.

I am loving my Thor Bomber. In all my recent combat operations, it has performed well. It was the ship of choice on my journey for new weaponry. Destination: Planet Gammu, in some unknown system. According to a Zoner docked at Freital, I would have to go through the Corsair homeland, Omicron Gamma, to get to this distant planet. I set off after repairing and restocking my ship.
The trips through the Omega systems were relatively quiet. Some corsair patrols along the way attacked me - they were no match for my Thor's weapons. In Omega-41 I evaded some more patrols of Corsairs and Bounty Hunters, finally reaching the Omicron Gamma jumphole. It was a risky decision to use the anomaly. I was going deep into Corsair territory. There was no way of telling what would be on the other side... Who knows, a fleet could be gathering to invade through the jumphole!
Thankfully, there was nothing but puny Weapon Platforms on the other side. I escaped the Gredos Cloud into open air. My long-range scanners didn't suggest there were many Corsairs in the system, so I headed to the Malvada Cloud. Using the coordinates supplied by that helpful Zoner, I managed to find the Omicron Kappa jump hole. It was surrounded by the wrecks of many Corsair fighters. It seems that the Corsairs must have a ritual to do with this hole...
When I emerged on the other side of the jump hole I was amazed! I was within some sort of asteroid field, with these strange alien rocks surrounding me. In the distance I could see a giant red sun, along with a smaller green star very far away. The green star was being sucked into something, perhaps a black hole?
After readjusting to this alien environment... My scanners picked up a patrol of unknown ships. They practically appeared out of nowhere! There were four small fighters and a larger, gunboat-sized ship. They appeared almost organic, shimmering with blue light. I realised that this system must be controlled by these aliens. These ships quickly engaged me and I began to retreat. Better to live than to die in some lost system, all alone...
I cruised towards a distant planet, I thought it must be charted. When I got closer my scanners picked up a docking ring and some ID satellites - this was Planet Gammu! I sped towards the docking ring and flew down to the surface, escaping those strange ships.
Planet Gammu was an abandoned world. There are no humans or living things here... Just robots. It was quite strange talking to robots but they were quite advanced. I managed to purchase a Supernova Anti-Matter Cannon from the robots in exchange for many credits and some advanced alloys. It seems that the robots need more metal to build more of their bretheren. They also gave me some free anti-radiation pharmacuticals, apparently the Planet suffers from high-radiation from an unknown source.
The Planet surprisingly had some comms channels connected to some Freeports in other systems. I used them to relay this transmission back to command.

This is Wolfgang Metz reporting from Dresden. I've completed my first run around Rheinland, most of the way along with a fellow pilot, also in a Thor Bomber.
My ships is proving quite capable, especially with the new weapons that our Outcast buddies gave to us. From our Armory, I was able to equip a powerful weapon, too of Outcast design.
As of now, my bomber is complete and I am ready to launch assaults on Daumann. Their hypocritical tyranny and their inhumane actions have been tolerated long enough.
Metz out!

What a day to be a Hessian! Nothing but a string of victories today, my friends; a very welcome change from the defeated we suffered in our early days. It began yesterday with myself and Rekrut Metz catching a Train called "Sir_Mop" in Stuttgart. He refused to stop, and opened fire. We responded in kind, and the result was a foregone conclusion.
Little else happened yesterday. But today...today, I took off in my Odin to give a Rekrut a tour of the path to Alpha. Nothing of note happened the whole time; a few enemies came in scanner range, but fled. After a visit to the Mollies, I returned to Darmstadt Depot and began readying the Sternenfaust for a mission. But when we undocked, what did we see on scanners but a Train shooting down one of our fighter patrols! He refused to drop the Hessian and LWB pilots in his hold, so I rushed to my bomber and took decisive action.
Shortly after that, more and more Hessian IDs began to pop up on the comm systems...including Oberleutnant Martin Nantz, whom I hadn't seen in quite some time. I soon discovered why he didn't respond to my first round of hails and greetings: he'd been busy destroying an OPG gunboat solo.
When he was done, we grouped up. It was four of us, plus the allied cruiser Varyag, a steadfast partner in many of our expeditions. We entered New Berlin, and a Kusari Explorer soon passed by...with Hessian pilots in his hold! He ignored our demands to drop the pilots, and fled to the Altenburg in Dresden. A lengthy chase was to no avail; the cretin got away. I cannot quite remember his name, but it sounded something like Quidrillion.
Next, we re-entered New Berlin and went a-hunting. We found a few sympathetic traders, and others that were not so sympathetic. There were some that were poor, whom we did not trouble and informed them of our cause. While we were doing this, Hans Krieger of the RM decided to try to stop us. The Varyag's mighty guns stopped him cold.
Trader.Crystal is friendly; this person financed half of Varyag's armor, and is to be left alone for the foreseeable future. There were several others, however...most got away due to the number of bases to dock on, but we nonetheless made four million credits. We returned to Dresden to contemplate our next move. While we were repairing and resupplying our ships, a Hacker-tagged Sabre belonging to Vladick Voronov entered scanner range of our patrols. I'd been expecting his arrival for some time; he wishes to set up a laboratory of some kind.
After failing to find a suitable location in Dresden, we left for Omega-11 to search there. We found a few candidates...and other things. The first thing we found was a Liberty Guardian VHF with, of course, Hessian pilots in his hold. He refused to drop them, so we pursued him to Solarius. While Varyag and a couple others negotiated with him, Matt and I proceeded to the other side of Planet Schutz, where we found another Liberty VHF, this one an Avenger, also Police-tagged and with Hessian pilots in his hold. Like the others, he ignored our requests to free our pilots. When will they learn?
Not terribly long after that, we spotted a Corsair moving through the system. Varyag had to leave to hunt a BHG battlecruiser, but myself and two RHA Odins belonging to Black and Wetter, along with my own Thor, engaged the Corsair. Turned out to be a smuggler in a Pirate Transport; my Supernova made short work of his hull.
By this time, we had finally agreed that for 72k credits - five times what Daumann had paid Mafia_Boss for them - we would permit the scoundrel to go free. But he undocked and came out shooting! The treacherous fool was soon dispatched, and is now Kill On Sight whenever he enters our territory. Hunt this one down, ladies and gentlemen. Until he makes amends, he is to live the life of the hunted. He will know fear when in the Omegas and Rheinland.
After that, I decided to call it a day and return to Vogtland.

Gutten tag once again. Transmitting report. While being on Freital, my mediator, Miss Olsen, contacted me via private channel and reported about high traffic in Dresden system. I arrived at Dresden immediatly.
Vogtland could not spare me any troops at the moment and I acted out alone. A decisive and quick blow was needed. I striked "Bautzen-->New Berlin jump gate" trade lane. The Daumann appearantly were warned about disrupted trade lane and ordered traffic to stay away from the threat, as no vessels showed up in the area.
Fortunately an unexpected attack on Daumann did not fail. No one expected launching a direct attack after the trade lane came back up. Some trick I learned from the Blood Dragons...
I jumped directly to Bautzen itself. A Daumann miner was in the area. He tried to escape once my ship was sighted at the station, but failed and a battle emerged. I acted as quickly as I could, Bautzen took minor damage from my mines, but the mining vessel was critically damaged by Sunslayer Torpedoes. (oorp: he F1ed out at the end).
Mission objective was to inflict as much repairable damage as possible, rather than destroying the targets themselves. That will increase repair costs for the Daumann decreasing their income, until it becomes too expensive for them to maintain mining operations in Dresden system and with rough materials further depleting, they will be forced out of the system.
The materials in Rheinland corporation owned clouds will deplete within a decade and skirmishes such as this make it impossible for Daumann to make any profit. This may lead to decomission of Bautzen, Leipzig and eventually shut down of the New Berlin jump gate.
For now I have moved to Omega 11 to skirmish and weaken Daumann instalation of Solarius, as they seem to be gathering in the area. Auf wiedersehen comrades.

I am sending this report to debrief you on my encounter several days ago regarding Mafia_Boss and his friends Bullet, Kuttlmutl and Graf_Von_Zeppelin. I began with broadcasting a system-wide warning to Mafia_Boss to leave (he had already been destroyed by us just over an hour before), and instead he engaged, calling on his three friends to help him. Things would have gone poorly for me had Varyag not been in the area. Shortly after his arrival, he proceeded to destroy all four aggressors.
Later today, I received word from our Molly friends, the Union of Gold, that Mafia_Boss had been sighted in the Omega 49 system and chase was given. Whether he was intercepted is uncertain at this point, but I believe it would be prudent to add his friends to the KoS list, and pass that same list to all our allies. This should make them think twice in attacking our comrades in arms and selling them off to Daumann scum. They will learn that no matter how far they run, there will be no place to hide.

You can't imagine how much dust I had to wipe from my communication console away to compose this message...
Today was not very exciting, but at least profitable. I met two traders, FinTraveller and =CR=Mr_3ppozz. FinTraveller, who donated first gave a small amount of 800k credits. Every help is appreciated. The kind Colonial was ready to donate 1 mill for the Hessian cause.
After the short donation trip I met a few NovaPG vessels at Yanagi. They are really kind people if you know them a bit better, maybe we should invite them over to Vogtland for a few drinks and snacks...

Plenty of news this time regarding our diplomatic relations, so read well.
I'm opening up diplomatic channels with the CR shortly...until the discussions are concluded, we will not attack or tax any CR or BSG vessels unless fired upon...or unless they decide to invade Alpha while we're there.
New policy regarding RM: do not engage unless you cannot flee. It's not because our Odins aren't a match for their Wraths - not at all. It's because no fight with the RM is a short one, and while we have no allies in the area they have little BUT allies. The longer a fight with the RM lasts, the more likely it is to turn against us. Avoid them, and they won't trouble us. They're a jackboot police force; if you see them entering Dresden, flee to Omega-11 and continue to operate there. They are more trouble than they're worth, and aren't our primary targets in any case.
Our KoS list has just grown. I set out to return the shared Waran to Dresden this morning, only to be instantly called by Rekrut Wilhelm about Mafia Boss in Dublin being chased by Mollies. I would be passing through there in any case, so I rushed to the hunt. He's exchanged his Guardian for a Rheinland bomber, and his escort "Outlander" flew a Viper mk1. Neither were a match for us. A Molly got the killing shot.
Keep a close eye on Outlander, Kuttlmuttl, and Graf_von_Zeppelin...I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. Mafia_Boss remains KoS, however, as does our old friend ROY. Bullet is added to the list, for so violently defying us twice, and hunting Wilhelm.
Good work, all of you. At this rate, expect a round of promotions soon.

After looking over our roster and your reports more carefully, I've decided that it's promotion time. Congratulations to Leutnent Wetter, Leutnent Lenz, and Leutnant Metz. You have all proven you know the ropes and are ready for a regular rank in the RHA. Congratulations also to Oberleutnant Black, who has overcome his non-Rheinland heritage with consistant dedication and hard work. Excellent, all of you. Keep it up, and the Leopard, a Hacker GS, will soon be getting herself a commander.

Today, we taught the Rheinland Navy an important lesson: do not challenge the Hessian fleet in the Giftnebel. A Rheinland cruiser by the very odd name of [RN]Pinky&Brain, loaded with Nomad turrets and battlerazors, made this fatal mistake. He chased Shimada and Admiral Kessler's Odins into the Giftnebel, fell back, then advanced again.
I engaged as soon as he was within range. With all of the problems Das Wilde have been causing everybody in Rheinland, I have to wonder about the sort of captain that would load their ship with Nomad guns...but at any rate, it was a fairly simple battle. By my third pass, however, the matter was all but decided; and on the fourth pass, it was completely decided.
Not bad, considering the fact that the Rheinland cruiser has considerably more armor than the Hessian cruiser, is a smaller target, and that the Sternenfaust still lacks the optimal armor upgrade.
