Mmhmm. Chopper, I'm with ya. Blunt, you're using a faulty logical model.
The thing is, they *should not* have battleships. But they do. Not accounted for RP-wise, to my knowledge. Correct me if I'm wrong.
And I still don't know how many planets the Blood Dragons have. Because sans a planet, you really can't start the argument for a population boost.
Further, Kusari civilians are much like the North Koreans of today. They are more like carefully herded sheep than humans, and they don't know that they're carefully herded sheep, so they don't mind.
EDIT: Not flaming ya, Blunt, just pointing out my disagreements with your argument. No flames, honest!
Rheinland is a fascist theocratic militarist nation on the verge of war with Jeffersonian Liberty, which is allied with constitutional centrist monarchy Bretonia, which is at war with imperial corporate shogunate Kusari. The levels of order and discipline in the houses far outweighs any racial or other cultural differences, and Rheinland objects to Bretonia's handling of it's war with Kusari.
It makes sense they would ally with Kusari, as some have said, for these reasons.

Oh no, I know you're not trying to bother me, heheh.
I totally agree that they shouldn't have Battleships... however... they do and that isn't about to change. Therefore I'm suggesting making their presence make sense instead of just waving it away.;)
I guess I'm just less happy with loose ends, heh. They annoy me. I don't like asking a Blood Dragon 'Where did you get that?' to responses of 'We built it' if it doesn't make sense. Essentially, without giving the Dragons increased power politically, we're giving them magical powers to make up for it.
And regarding the Shogunate, I was speaking to Praetyre, and he pointed out my mistakes on that front... so I deleted the edit.;)
Loose ends are annoying, but still, we can't alter the history in order to make them make sense. We need a better plan.
Like, say, a limit to the amount of BDBS there are, and a nice RP story for the current one (I refer to Bulldog's. I'm all for the limiting of the Blood Dragon battleships.).
Replace it to be sold on Lost Battlestar, case closed.
No more Blood Dragons will fly it, especially not their allies.
And NovaPG get something unique.
Don't know if this is doable, however.
Last time something like this was suggested, people were informed that this is still a free server, so people can buy/use whatever they want, as long as they stick to their ID.
It would be such a waste for a beautiful model like that to exist in one piece only.
But, there is a good solution to that one, for the next patch.
Kusari BS is useless. It is, really. 2 Supernova hits in the fins and it's down.
No one will ever use it.
And, on the other side, we don't want Blood Dragon BS spammage, do we?
NovaPG have their own, so now that can be changed.
Please, give Togo to KNF, and NovaPG could still keep one as a flagship.
It would solve all our problems here, i believe. Correct?

It is every Corsair's responsibility to die a beautiful death in defense of Crete, regardless of how OORP or how capwhoring the opposition is. Launch your fighter, joust the battlecruisers and die a beautiful death. Then, drink it down in the bar.
Certainly.
This suggestion was rejected before 4.84 patch, so i think they will reject it again.
But still, no harm in trying to do a good thing.
