Hi, so this is the annual topic of 2013 about the phantoms, i know it is dangerous to talk about the phan.. i mean the "myth" but its not like i can patch you in the back and tell you it's alright and that im sorry.
Having said all that, I do have to wonder why nomads are just jellys, back on those days, people were pissing themselves out whenver a phantom crossed by, now i dont even bother hunting jellys, they are pathetic, if thats an alien hostile then im not impressed. ( with all due respect ).
The admins should re-consider the phantoms, or a invite/admin terrorist group, something that will give people .. you know that jalt when someone passes infront of you? sure you do!.
I mean let's face it, pirates are really farmers and farmers are really pumpkns, we just need a few of them to scare some nublets.
Comeone seriously now..
I'm all for boosting Nomad weaponry to make them as dangerous as they were intended to be, after all they've got superior technology and should be a scary encounter.
Only thing that will ever make nomads scary is if you open them, forbid them to ***RP***, and stick them in the Omicrons where they belong. Anything else will just keep them the hypocritical bunch of whiny powergamers with stupid RP that they always were here.

While in some way I must agree on that recently their RP is not as powerful as we could want, but if I were you I wouldn't be that offencive. Or, for being here, you would treat a good half of community the same?
Anyhow, I would agree, that opening a Nomad id would bring lots of activity and RP opportunities into Omicrons.
If my memory does not fail me, there was a thread about opening that ID.
About lack of a proper ID - why, in case of providing some well roleplay, pirate or even freelancer IDs won't suit a terrorist?
I always thought that people should be loyal to such a tricky stuff as ID rights when it comes to a logical and intresting roleplay, and just turn a blind eye for the sake of roleplay.

Sure thing, it would be pity of you to roleplay that low.
And why would you think that for such a roleplay you will be gifted with a terrorist ID?
From what I know, it is being given by an admin, providing that you have a proper RP background... Though I am not sure on how this works.... Just never had a wish to do goalless and rpless pew.
