As anyone who I've fought in space can attest, I'm rubbish at all things involving VHF pvp fights. The number I've won, including in conn, I can probably count on one hand. Part of the reason is no doubt that my aim isn't very good. Now of course practice makes perferct, but my practice hasn't gotten me very far.
So one thing I'm looking at towards improving my aim is mouse sensitivity. Mine is currenntly on the default setting which is about 50%. I'm wondering what most pvp'ers out there use? I've started experimenting with higher values, up to 100% but would like an insight on your opinions.
Is default fine? Should I raise it? Is it that I'm just rubbish?
It's funny how mouse sensitivities have crept up over the years. I remember back in the days when mice had balls (you know what I mean!) most of the movement action was through your elbow. These days the action is thru your wrist and fingers. I don't know how I managed to play Doom....
I find it easier to use Windows with high mouse sensitivity, what with huge screens and all. But it's much harder to aim in shooting games, coz the slightest jitter can throw your aim off. So I tend to crank the sensitivity right down when playing shooters.
Well, I use 50% because thats what very skilled fighters kill those with 100%, plus if you have 100% you are certain to miss your shots, but if 0% then your mouse is too slow. So I normally use 50% because thats what i like it.
