Guten Morgen Officers of Bretonian Police,
Daumann contacts you today with official complaint against one of your pilots, constable Starstruck.
Said pilot completely ignored Union Corse pirate attacking our convoy and later questioned one of our captains wasn't that Daumann ship which fired first. Our employee could hear Bretonian Police ordered its pilots to not engage UC pirates, only to escort backto Gallia, as "they do damage there".
DHC considers incident with idle constable as unacceptable, the Daumann expects guilty of loss of our ship will be held accountable.
The Daumann Heavy Construction continues to supply Bretonia with necessary materials, minerals and finished goods, such as Military Vehicles, High-Temperature Alloys, various types of ore and refined metals, and many other essential commodities required to wage war.
In the recent months however position of our convoys, safety of our employees, especially in Omega-3, lowered significantly. Terrorist raids on Rugen station happen on a weekly basis, Libertonian warships, from both Primary and Secondary flotte, are regularly spotted by our captains, Outcast destroyer was reported in Omega-3, even IMG battlecruiser was met in Leeds.
Our corporation enjoyed long and profitable cooperation with Bretonian Crown and companies, we want to maintain such valuable relationship, but Bretonia is getting less and less safe place to invest in, difficulties, unexpected expenses spent on repairs, increased security, and losses of ships, cargo and Krediten to pirates, this all does not help us.

Greetings.
I read the complaint file against me and I admit my actions in this matter could have been better planned out.
My attempts for a peaceful resolution of that situation was thawrted and I am awfully sorry for any loss of life, potentially due to my slow reactions, although I highly doubt I could have done much better than the Hunter you had hired.
I have to bring to your attention though the fierce chase I then gave to the culprit to the edges of Bretonia, and the fact I have escorted DHC ships through Bretonia whenever I had found them without escorts of their own.
I guarantee I will keep doing my best to keep all lawful citizens of the Empire and passers-by safe, and urge you to fly in numbers with armed transports and advance scouts.
Also, us Constables can barely keep up with our running costs with the salary we're given, so be mindful that in case I am financially reprimanded, you may be leading to one less law enforcement official in Bretonian space, however ineffective you think she is.
Once again Constable Starstruck has beaten me to a message about these sorts of incidents. Unfortunately in this case, the complaint is legitimate.
As you mentioned yourself, most of Daumann's business with Bretonia comes from the war effort. With what is believed to the largest military force ever assembled knocking on our doors, the Kingdom has little capital to expend on many other services. Here, a misunderstanding during her training has resulted in a judgement error on our Constable's part.
Although I do not know their true standing in Gallia, the Corse are not particularly welcome in Bretonia, and usually end up breaking at least one of our laws due to the equipment they use or their general business. As with most law-breakers, when cooperating, they will be fined and removed from our territory. When actively breaking the law, our officers should take direct action to prevent a loss such as yours. I will make sure this is made clear to Constable Starstruck.
We do seek to remedy this situation with a new Civil Defence Initiative, which Daumann may be able to assist with and prevent future tragedies such as this one. If you have willing escort pilots or know of others who seek work, they may be suited to defending Bretonia and the people within it.
Our officers do their best, but we cannot be present at all times. Unwelcome warships are escorted out when possible, and you can of course use Comm Channel 999 for fining and removal where appropriate.
As for Libertonian vessels assisting on the Western Front, I stated above that we have a seemingly impossible task ahead of us - do think what Charles will do when he bores of his new territory should we fail in it...
It was not so long ago that Rheinland had assistance from Kusari during the Omega border conflict. However, Liberty is not here to extend the war with your nation, and any incident indicating the opposite can be brought straight to the Bretonian Government.
Best regards,
Deputy Commissioner Magnus Page
Constable Starstruck,
In future, please leave official complaints to the Commissioners. Be assured that we will defend you as far as we are able, but it is not seemly to barge into a report subject to you.
As you should now understand, when any ship is actively breaking our laws and assaulting civilians, you defend them before they stop supplying the war effort. Privateers, Corse, Outcasts, Hessians - they do not have complete immunity here.
Keep up your efforts in the meantime, although defer to a higher ranked officer when available.
