We've come under slight fire, the shield and supplies for repair have held out, but construction of permanent defence has now raised to top priority. Associates have been contaced to best direct course of action.
Construction of all cores and platforms was completed some time ago.
Increased patrols of the restricted zone has ensured no hostiles get even closed to threaten the more than able defence systems, let alone the installation.
Installation of all Liquid storage elements was also successful and is now ready to hold at least a years supply, if not more.
After the fist part of the station has been built, you fly around it. You see its metal hull, the standard plates that cover it, the dockingmodules, the living areas, the hydroponic gardens, the station defenses, the areas that you know contain the hospital ward, the storages, the energy cores, the coms, the scanners and all the other necessities of such a station. You see the Vail that is living around the station giving reflections on it a blueish colour. You recall that you also had a hardtech shield installed, which is of course not active at the moment. You see the Vail opening tiny gaps for the hangar gates to open for a Labraid to enter one of the docking bays that are prepared for Nomads and a blue shimmer enlightens the close surrounding from within the dockingbay as the body of the Nomad enters it. You recall all the thousand tiny bits that prevent unwanted beings or tech to enter the station, and get a frown as you recall what happens when those completely independent working hand full of physically different methods of self destruction should begin their work if such a thing should happen anyway. You sigh, knowing that you have done a tough bit of work and knowing what a long road lies still ahead of you. Your begin your approach to the station after you have gotten permission to dock. The station opens for you as well and you enter the smooth interior of this human suited dockingbay. Leaving your ship you walk through a corridor without 90° edges. All corners are smoothed out like they had grown. Friendly blueish light comes from the walls and the ceiling. You pass by a hip high thing that seems to have grown out of the floor like drop of water that is turned upside down. As you look at it begins to show current information on the station, your mail and other things of current interest for you, amongst them a message that you should follow the dock officer coming to guide you.
Walking ahead you meet the "human" dock officer that tells you to leave your ship in the hangar bay and follow him. On your way, you see a lot of people, humans, "humans" and *humans*. After a while you arrive at a room where he asks to wait.
a human sized spirit, with five "leg like tentacles"... a sentinel ... comes ... towards you ....
Chenzo-[101st]: "One has never been so physically close"
the spirit leaves without sound as it came... and the "human" dockofficer enters the room...
"human" dockofficer: "if you might follow sir?"
*Chenzo begins to follow the dock officer without question.*
He leads you to a room, nothing big but fine...
"human" dockofficer: "this shal be your quarter for the next two weeks sir. ofcourse you may use the stations relaxation areas..."
Chenzo-[101st]: "One is not allowed to leave the base at all ?"
"human" dockofficer: "" ... "oh sir, of course you may... but your ship won't. the spirit has locked the hangar bay"
Chenzo-[101st]: "One knows better than to question methods..... One is sure time shall explain all...."
and in the darkness of the hangar bay, cell cultures find their way to specific places of the ship ... and begin to grow
the station proves to be a pleasant and lively place, although more silent, in sense of spoken conversation, than any other station you know
*Chenzo had little to do in terms of moving around or communication.. the abse was so silent*
two weeks later, just as she was about to serve you, a "human" bartender tells you
"human" bartender: "your ship may now leave the station again, do you wish to finish your meal ?"
Chenzo-[101st]: "One shall finish the prepared meal.. out of respect... and One has also learnt... Patience is a virtue..."
the "human" bartender nods and continues to serve your meal
*Chenzo eats his meal as normal, although he is still not sure what to expect when he'll be finished. No sooner had he finished, had the bartender arrived to take the dirty plate away. He stands up and after looking around and not seeing anyone, makes his way towards the hanger bay*
nothing hinders him, The hanger door opens and chenzo see's his Sabre in the middle... but some parts are missing ... others have been added ... it would seem that chenzo has been honoured with spirit gifts. What appears to be very thin, buy strong layer of slime appear to be covering his ship. As chenzo takes a seat in the cockpit, he notices that the ship feels different.... in fact it feels.. no, he feels it. chenzo pilots out of the hangar bay and becomes aware that his ship has several spirit tools now that seem to be "happy". chenzo tries to understand it, and he becomes aware that the tools are happy since they are healthy and do what they had been designed for.
Chenzo-[101st]: "One has never -felt- energies within the ship before..."
Chenzo had spent the two weeks in near complete silence.
It felt to him as if the walls were talking to him. What they were saying, he was unsure about. It was as if he had not yet forfilled what the /nomads wanted from him, despite having done so much.
As soon as he had left the station in his newly "modified" Sabre, all of the peices fell into place.
The ship would respond to every thought faster than he could control it himself.
Chenzo now thought about what the Base may now be capable of doing, especially as it had undergone the same Nomadic growing makover.
After 7 hours of sleep, Jared wakes up while Auto- Pilot still fled to co-ordinates given by Chenzo.
He was in nebula, green nebula, which reminded him on the same nebula in Omicron Alpha. While he was still sleepy, he didn't dropped an eye on monitors or scanners, therefore he couldn't know where he is actualy.
After a minute of cruising in the same nebula, he spotted a lonely and smaller planet, something which looked like ancient Earth, but it seemed to be covered by only jungles and large lakes and, near it, there was an lonely station.
Station was well defended itself, everywhere around station at any angle and direction was well equiped weapon platform.
There was something like shield around base, it was active, it was blue-purple and it was making strange noises which reminded Jared on same type of shield on his Sabre.
"Well, this is familiar. Felt asleep, autopilot led me into unknown and, strange things again."
His Sabre was still under control of the Auto- Pilot, which led him inside of the base, while sheild around base, made a hole inside of it, enough for his Sabre to pass trough it, to the hangars.
As soon as he landed, and got out from his Sabre, an unknown man met him, telling him to folow him, without any questions.
While Jared folowed, he noticed that base was quite silent, on corridor walls there was blue-ish light. At one moment, he felt strange, like walls were speaking to him, silently, many voices, he ignored and folowed without question.
The Man led him to the bar, where he was told to have a seat, while bartender greeted him and served him with a drink, which would Jared order, like he knew.
He was told to stay there and wait.
<"From Darkness, lead me to Light. From Ignorance, to Truth. From Death, to Immortality.">
What seemed like weeks but was actually only 10 minutes, Chenzo apeared from behind the bar.
Welcome to my home from home...."
Chenzo walks towards where Nomak is sat, he gestures to the bar keeper who seemed to apear from nowhere, before sitting down across the table from Nomak.
"I have brought you here to offer you and your units residence here..
As you can see, security is tighter than a nun's private areas.....
The enlightend lands lie very close and this presents a full circle of oppertunity for both of us....
Your thoughts?"
Chenzo sits back and sips the drink the bartender had brought him.
"Well senor, I must admit, I thought you already knew what this oppertunity offerd yourself and those under your command..."
Chenzo gestures towards the wall closest to where they were sat.
The moment Jarek looked at the wall, he turned away holding his head.
"To any ordenary human, you would have seen nothing but a wall..."
Chenzo pauses whilst Nomak looks back towards him before continueing.
"This is a uniqe stronghold, I can't say what the Spirits gain from it being under their control, but they have indeed granted me a certain gift which allows my lifes work to finally make sence"
Chenzo notices that Nomak was starting to look rather bored, he quickly pipes up the conversation.
"What this means for yourself is that the little project we spoke of previously is able to be carried out here, without anyone being able to hinder efforts"
Chenzo swipes his hands across the bar table, immedtatly it lights up and Chenzo narates what is able to be seen.
"You are looking at Codenamed weaponry. Not that much is known about these guns, even their origin is... cloudy"
Chenzo's face lights up
"That was of course until the Nomads gave me a certain gift"
His face looses all expression..
"Our project only needs the input of what you wish to achieve....."
