I have recently come in possesion of a I'ane and have been experiencing problems with the power output of the power plant. My current pilot license id is with interspace commerce. The I'ane has the current load out of 7 type 3 transport turrets, a molecular transport shield, a heavy thrust and a deep scanner. I have yet to be able to decifer if any of these are the problem but have so far not come to any conclusions. If anyone can offer their assistance in this matter a small reward is offered to the first one who helps me fix this problem.

It's pretty simply, really. The I'ane's Gallic tech, and they have the most ridiculous internal electronics set-up you've ever heard of. I mean, it's efficient, yeah, but it has a way of falling apart. The maintenance is horrendous, and trying to link in type two ports is ju-... Eh. Sorry. Getting sidetracked again. If I do that again, let me know. I'm sure you've got better things to do then listen to me talk tech all day.
Anyway, the basic gist is that it's the combination of the ship and your license ID. Ships from that end of Sirius aren't really compatible with good old Libertonian systems, like the one in your ID. If you like, there's a list of what you should be able to patch together over here. Replacing one or the other should fix things up for you. If you want to keep that I'ane, then you probably need to sign up with a Gallic corporation. Or swap the I'ane for a train or something. Then again, what do transports need guns for anyway, right?
Fixing should be pretty easy, so I won't even charge you for that one.
If im reading the files you sent me correctly anything in the redzone is incompatible with my current pilot license id? If that's the case i should change to a new model of ship, although i would hate to lose my I'ane, so far she's done wonders for me. Any advice on a newer or older model ship that's just as reliable? Or should i go talk to the gallic about changing my current pilot license to their data?
~Captain of the Arcylia
Sorry, I misread something. The I'ane's a Brigand ship, and according to the data I sent earlier, Brigand spacecraft just aren't compatible with an Interspace license, sorry. Which brings us right back to my original mistake. Since it's a Brigand ship, getting a job with the Gallic corporations probably won't help too much, unless you want to walk for the Brigand's themselves (or their allies, I suppose)!
Yeah, I haven't had to deal with Gallic ships in a while, in case you didn't gather that. There's not usually too many of them in Liberty. You're dead-on though. Anything in the red, on the 'Interspace Commerce' line, is going to give you some serious power issues. If you want to keep the I'ane, take a look down it's column. It'll tell you all the ID systems that it can work with. Color coded blue (for native users. Brigands, in this case), green (for allies), and yellow (for sort-of), for your convenience.
As to what else's reliable, well, I did some mechanical work down at Baltimore for a while, and the most common ships we had coming through were trains of one variety or another. They're used widely enough to compatible with just about everyone's systems. Of course, it all depends on what you want to do with it...
I guess it's just a case of, well, whatever you like. There's a catalog here though. Oh, and if you do get a train, make sure to get the D3 couplings replaced before you head out. There's was a problem with that carriage falling off a while back. I mean, we fixed it, but it can't hurt to check.
Hope that helps. If you need any more information, I'm right here.
Yeah, i had a train at one point, went through almost every model and those problems are exactly why i looked for something else. Im thinking maybe keeping with the I'ane mainly for how durable it is, but i'll still look through the catalog for something else as well as browse through those files you sent me. Thank you for the assistance. If you ever need anything of a large quantity transported just give me a call. I'll give you a free round trip, all expessens paid for by me.

Greetings.
I saw this pass my inbox and took a quick look. Just a reminder to you, even if you are an affiliate of Interspace Commerce, the Republic of Liberty still considers Gallic Criminal Transports to be illegal vessels. Exceptions are granted to those belonging to the Council of course, but that seems like it would be a radical change in your livelihood. Please give proper consideration to what you're flying before entering Liberty Space with such a vessel in the future.
From who else has been in this channel, it appears you have found your problem. Do not be deceived by negative comments on our power systems, perhaps you would consider the Corse and Brigands simply wish to discourage outsiders from using our technology effectively? Of course, this does not stop you from paying us for the ship...
If you wish to find a use for your L'Ane as I have, perhaps you wish for us to arrange to have your papers changed to one of our contractors or associates? If you also have une famille, perhaps following the Senate is of interest.

Hey there, I couldn’t help but notice this transmission while scanning the local chat waves. You say you’re in possession of an L’Ane, from what I remember, that transport has a nice sizable hold. I’m sure there are plenty of places in Liberty that would love a full shipment of Gallic Wine. Heh heh, just be sure to keep away from New York, I here there’s a nice meeting spot where smugglers like to transfer cargo to one another in the Tahoe Ice field in California… I’m sure the Rogues would leave you... what tha… FRAK?!?!
Captain...something, of the Arcylia, odd, don't have a name registered for that ship, oh well..
Now, Gallic ships really are a beauty, I know this from my Gallic Liner that I use as my Executive ship, but, I don't get why you'd need any weaponry, didn't they teach you at IC's Credit Academy? Money is our weapon, not turrets.
