Ladies and gentlemen,
my name's Blake C. Monroe, Vice President of [IND]'s quality management and today I've had a - frankly - quite surprising conversation with one of your fine naval officers at planet Manhattan.
While I was doing my job as on any other day in the past weeks aboard my vessel - a so called Lucullus liner of gallic origin - this officer told me about a section in the Liberty laws which I wasn't familiar with.
Laws of the republic of Liberty Wrote:Section 3, Paragraph III
Additionally, all Transport-class vessels of Gallic origin are not permitted with the House of Liberty, except when crewed by and flown under the banner of the Council.
Captains of transports of illegal make and model will be forced to drop any cargo they are carrying and exit the house of Liberty by the route specified by the officer on duty. An additional fine may be levied if previous infractions have occurred. Any resistance or evasion will result in the transport ship being destroyed.
Though the officer - I'm sorry I can't recall his name - was kind enough to quote this law to me and I immediately left the republics space to the system of Oita.
As with this transmission towards your bureau I'd like to request an exception from this paragraph quoted above for my vessel which is registered legit to our company, has been in the republic of Liberty for a couple of weeks now, has never been stated illegal by either the Liberty Navy, Liberty Security Force or the Liperty Police Inc. (primary and secondary fleet members) and hasn't ever carried contraband cargo aboard.
This vessel only serves the purpose of being my mobile office and a place to sleep during appointments which can't be held aboard our facilities.
You might ask why I choose this vessel instead of using either a civilian class ship or even our own build, the Shukensha Renzu liner, for this purpose and I might add this is a good question, indeed.
The reason to pick this rather strange vessel way outside of gallic space is because of the uniqueness it exudes compared to all the common vessels flying through the systems of Sirius.
I'd appreciate an exception for my vessel from the list of banned classes within the borders of Liberty space and provide you with the - what I think are - necessary information regarding my ship:
Code:
Ship Name: [IND]Fallen.Angel
Ship Class: Lucullus liner
Call sign: IND 2300 heavy
ID papers: Independent Neuralnet Division
Shown IFF: none
Though it still surprises me how it was possible to stay "undetected" during the already mentioned time either sitting in plain view around Manhattan or even during legit trips through the system of Illinois it is not my intention to raise any tensions between our company and your government. The Fallen Angel is currently docked at our facility in Oita and will remain on location until this minor situation is solved.
Signed,
Blake C. Monroe
Vice President of Quality Management
COMM ID:Vice Admiral Alan Polstari TARGET ID:Blake C. Monroe SUBJECT:Gallic Liner Request ENCRYPTION:Medium PRIORITY:Medium
Greetings, Mister Monroe.
Your request has been received, and the government has handed its decision back. While it is appreciated that you have sought to request an exemption for your vessel via proper channels, the government has determined that a display of decadence, much less one produced by a house we are currently at war with, is an insufficient reason to grant one for. Your request is hereby denied. While you are welcome to fly it elsewhere, the [IND]Fallen.Angel is to remain outside of Liberty space at all times.

Admiral Polstari,
though it really bugs me that the Fallen Angel has been exiled from Liberty space I'll accept the decision and hope once the situation with the kingdom of Gallia has been solved she'll be granted access again.
Frankly I still don't understand why so many of your officials have passed the vessel before even while she flew right in the eyes of Police Plaza, West Point and of course planet Manhattan itself.
But well, I've never been a man of politics so I guess I'm not as good in this game as the kind folks of the government.
Signed,
Blake C. Monroe
