Source: Malaclypse Freeport, Baffin System From: Theodore Sturgeon, TAZ Templar To: Everyone in Sirius Subject: Baffin Superhighway Permits
Kallisti!
The name is Theodore Sturgeon, Administrator of Malaclypse Freeport in Baffin, and TAZ Templar.
This notification is for everyone who uses the Baffin Superhighway that connects Coronado with Tau 29. Due to recent incidents, we are forced to seal the Tau 29 gate to everyone but those registered with a permit. Permits are for free. We have built defense platforms, and in the next days we will deploy these turrets to guard the Tau entrance to the Baffin system, to prevent enemies such as those two Outcast cruiser captains from threatening our safety and that of our guests in Baffin.
The intention of this notice is for all of you who use Baffin as a shortcut to or from the Taus, to register your group or ship in the Baffin Superhighway Permits Neuralnet. Upon registration, turrets won't fire at you, and you will also have docking permits at Malaclypse Freeport.
To individuals: Registration for individual vessels is done via Private Comms, as explained on the link provided above. Any pilot that posts his/her ship's callsign for the public to see will not be added to the guestlist.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but space has become a dangerous place and we need to keep record of who's flying in ours.
Install more turrets, sir.
Despite the occasional shots of your turrets at random, i stole your Zoner Gunboat from Pueblo Bonito without any problems.
I hope, this freeport will be more protected
