I have notised that some projectile effects are bigger or smaller than others.
For example:
Heavy Flashpoint
Bomber Energy Turret
Clearly, the bomber projectile effect is bigger is size compared to the Flashpoint.
My question is: Are the projectiles different is size or just the effect?
What do I mean?
Does the bigger projectile have a bigger "hitbox" ? (excuse me if I'm using the term hitbox wrong here)
And what do I mean by THAT? Does a bigger projectile have a bigger chance of hitting a small target, simply because if the projectiles's size?
Let me give a example.
Lets say you fire a single Heavy Flashpoint at a Eagle's wing. The eagle moves a bit up, and because the Flashpoint's projectile is so small - it misses.
Now you fire a Bomber Energy Blaster at the same Eagle's wing. The eagle moves a bit up. But this time the edge of the bomber blaster hits the wing (because the projectile effect is bigger).
Can this happen or not?
Does the projectile size matter?
A good example were the old massive BS mortars:
While they look big, they still needed to be aimed perfectly, since the size of the projectile simply does not matter.
