Depends really. You have 2 types of PET bottles, one use (which are obviously recycled) and the multiple use ones. (These are refilled) You can easily tell which is which by looking at the wear and tear. For beer bottles (Glass bottles) they refill an average of 10 to 35 times.
No one complains that "someone else has had their lips down there" when it comes to sexual favors (and those haven't been cleaned with hardcore chemicals), yet touching a clean bottle that someone else has touched is a no go?
