do you want force independents to join klan? realy? thats not solution.
1. If clan refuse him? What can he do? Stop play on server or spend hours or days on forum and try all clans in hope someone accept him with his cap?
2. Too many bad RP players forced to join clans can kill these clans. Look at =LSF=.... they have nice RP players but they have bunch of PVP whores too which kill you because your parking is bad.
3. No clan no cap? Everyone who dont want to be in clan and want to have cap, just add to his name [? "or something else] and we will have X new clans with 1 member...
4. cap is point of most traders why they do their boring trade roots again and again. If you kill their dream with cap = clan (that in fact = no cap)... many of them just stop play with their trader character. Space will be more empty, pirates more bored (and bloodthirsty)... that can kill whole "ecosystem"
5. Zoners and Freelancers... they are naturaly free minds. Do you want mechanicaly remove their caps from game and from whole mod?
6. Outcasts and Corsairs... you cant complain them with Bundschuch or Liberty rogues. They arent only faction, they are on same lvl like Bretonia or Liberty. They are nation. But they havent president or goverment. Gangs and mafia-like families thats what they are. In RP language: every single CAP can be 1 gang because CAP havent only captain, CAP have crue too.
As I said before. Only 1 good thing what you can do is make screenshots and report them. And dont forget ask them why they are here because they can have RP reason (very strong reason but there is still cance they have 1)

Joking aside, some restriction would be nice, since it doesn't seem that individual gangs or bounty hunter units have a battlecruiser or whatever, it seems like every member of said organisation, as well as their dogs, geriatric grandparents and that girl of questionable virtue that they may-or-may-not have gotten lucky with the previous night has one.
No one wants to force people to join the Xenos or Celtic family groups or online casual organisations. We merely wish to restrict, as the actual LPI (LPI's planned purchase of Illinois and officiality), LN (planned RP merger) and LSF (system purchase imminent) to, as the leaders of the LPI, LN and LSF to restrict anyone who wishes to join our "banner". We are the LPI/Navy/LSF, much as the RM is. Thus, we are very interested to know about these strange ships not appearing on our registers who seem to be using our ships, IFFs and/or IDs. It would be a bit like a random US battleship appearing in New York Harbour.
This whole thing we are applying extends only to LPI/LN/LSF ships, IDs and IFFs. Corsairs are a whole different bag, and the main focus of this conversation.

Turkish & Laowai, you both make excellent RP cases for Corsairs being in Liberty. I congratulate you. In fact you have sparked my imagination for my own Corsair char, and you have my thanks:)
But yes, as was stated the problem is the indie pwnz0rs invading just for the hell of it:(
@ Kambei: Just to note no one in LSF has ever killed a player for bad parking. Thats a very simplistic view of an incident I ended up sanctioned for and accepted but parking was not the crime.
@Kambei--if someone RPs as a member of an organisation with a military chain of command, (such as the Liberty navy, or the BAF) that person is effectively a subordinate of the person who RPs the supreme commander of that group. Ergo, every single person with a navy tag falls under turkish's jurisdiction, regardless of whether or not they join his faction.
And, another thing, the admins are not the dictators of this community, they are the police (police of a free society, mind you) which is to say, they enforce the communities rules, which is why it really is up to the community to decide how to deal with this problem.
