Anyone who has been in Coronado for any decent length of time will know of the Colonial presence outside the cloud. When we came here from Tau-44, there was clearly a large Freelancer presence around Barrier Gate Station in the cloud. There was no need to remove or alter this, as most keep themselves to themselves. However, those who are a source of trouble such as "The Indian" pirate rabble or those dealing with our enemies shall not be tolerated.
One such problem we have found is The Onyx Bazaar. Their [SYN]dicate ships have had quite the presence, and our infiltrators have also found their station with some rather choice items. This, along with some sightings of your doings elsewhere, unfortunately shorten the life of your base significantly. When your station is removed, any survivors' pods shall be returned to Barrier Gate Station.
You, and all else who choose to come here, shall keep yourselves to the cloud when not dealing with us or the Guild, and away from any Maltese or Gallic Royalist presence. Those who find themselves at the mercy of troublemakers may still call on our pilots when in need.
Hello there Mr Anders, please call me Elise.
I'm the former head of the Onyx Syndicate, the owner of the Onyx Bazaar.
Former, as the Syndicate has been disbanded for a variety of reasons people that aren't our allies don't really need to know.
How you managed to gain docking access is beyond me, but it really doesn't matter.
If you manage to dock again, you'll find the storerooms entirely empty and the station abandoned.
As well as numerous explosives and blast marks and wrecked equipment, as well as partially flooded areas, from when I was having fun playing around in the derelict base.
Don't, like, electrocute yourself with any of the exposed circuitry.
Rescuing crew won't be necessary - the entire base crew has already been evacuated. The Bazaar, at this time, is decaying rapidly.
If you feel the need to accelerate this process, be my guest.
No monetary, material or personal harm will be done.
Ah the Reavers, champion of the Freelancer and all. I do remember the state Barrier Gate ended up during that little debacle the Guild caused. My apologies for not being clear, those using the Gate may do so when they do not cause trouble or deal with the Maltese and their scourge; nor invite any Charles Royalists in. Although I understand the support goes the other way in your case, Ms. Silver.
As for Miss... Elise here, the lack of attention to the base was quite apparent when we boarded it a second time. Several holes on the outside were added to match those on the inside, which the station did not agree with. A pleasant day to you.
Well, Colonials, I'm certainly grateful for your service.
I wouldn't have wanted to have to pay ALG for scrapping the place.
I do wonder if you would have had the endurance, and coffee, to tear the place down when it was fully stocked and crewed, and the weapon platforms were still in place. Not to mention a handful of Syndicate bombers.
Oh well, I suppose we'll never know.
I suppose we'll meet again, as I tend to traverse the system quite often.
Though you likely won't know it.....all the better that way.
To Silver: I've always appreciated your company's.....minimalist style.
I'd invite you to the Bazaar, but obviously that's not going to be easy at this point.
Anyway, keep on reaving.
I do love you, oh you crazy humanity. No, wait.....I hate you. Eh, it's pretty much the same thing.
