Corsairs attacking liberty...

This is what I mean, and Praetyre hit it on the head.

Players RPing with Liberty Navy, or any other FL Faction IDs and Tags are not independents. If they want to RP as members of these factions, they must join the existing player faction for the corresponding FL Faction. In fact, the reason these players remain "independent" is because of several of these reasons:

-They don't want to RP a command structure.
-They want to fly capships.

Frankly, if you are going to join a military, rule one is going to exist at all times. The 2nd part, I think that everyone can agree that it will be good.

Now, independents are persons wearing generic IDs. Those people have free reign. If persons don't want to be part of a command structure, etc... they need to use the generic IDs.

I believe that this is the only reason players don't join the RM and instead become independents. I've been asked if they can join RM, but as soon as I mention that would be forced to start off in a fighter and work their way up... They lose interest.

I just hope at least most of them are like me, when i joined i wanted a BS right away but as soon as i got it i realized it was not as fun and hardly used it, now i don't have anything bigger than a bomber.

Thats what i really like about capships, the RP of having a flying home or base of operations is great.:)

But then you realize that your always the first to be hit in battle and that in a fighter i can last hours but in a battleship not so long because everyone goes for the battleship first, not that im a good fighter, i mostly suck but fights are allot more fun than in a battleship, battleship fighting is all about strafe and aim and thats about it.:)

I do miss it sometimes though and i did get pretty good in the old Velasco with its crappy armor (taking out ships with maxed out armor).:D

but I got refused because you took in all the older players until you cut recruitmenet >>

Rest assured that those words are taken out of context and it was merely my views on an aspect that was being discussed.
I covered the drawbacks from that same statement, but they're not displayed here.
I'll be one of the last to throw all independent corsairs over the wall, I make particular distinctions and I do not group you, nor others that think with reason, with that bunch.
I apologise if any of my words have insulted your respected independence, it was not meant that way.

On the other hand I will not hide that some 'Corsairs' need to be taken down like dogs. Not only do they offend us with such behaviour, but they also endanger everything we protect.
Examples need to be set and sometimes blood speaks where words fail.
Yet... it needs to be handled with care.
I don't want this to end in a great cleansing, followed by a totalitarian system.
But as I said before: The Elders will have the last word in this.

Very out of topic here but...

When you submitted your application you were like two weeks new to discovery.... and you also managed to write that you don't know how to take a trade lane :D You didn't mean it that way... but it surely sounded like that.

I advise you to try and post for recruitment again now....it's not me that decides if you come in but I think you have quite a good chance.

This is not a corsair invasion of Liberty (not by us), what other independant Corsairs buisness is in Liberty we dont know, they dont belong to us...

For all, who are not knowing, who we are: we are the guys, that maked the one day most of the terror, the guys who fight at the zone21 minefield and the texas-jumpgate to new-york.

All attacks were under the leadership of a Gaian, so our attacks belong to the Gaians and not to the Corsairs. Corsairs only fly in formation to us, cause they were allies and so we used them to fight with us.

It is not right, that we didnt said, what our intentions were in Liberty...
As I said at our attack in zone21,

"Liberty shall fall, your damned souls will be ours. The Trade-Lines will be flooded with the blood of the unbelievers."

WASNT THAT CLEAR ENOUGH FOR LIBERTY GUYS ???

Liberty's Industry is as well as all other House-industries, a devastating nature-destroying machinery, and I as a Gaian will fight from now on till the elimination of our enemys against all House-Police/House-Military and the House-economy, to damage hardly their polluting industry...

And Liberty wouldnt be the only House attacked in the next days and weeks, thats for sure...

uh - wanted to reply that from the point of view of Clover ( gaian ) - but i gave up, and will pretend that i never heard about any gaian moving to liberty to fight or even know about zone 21.
