Zone21 should be restricted by force... if LSF has time to patrol Manhatan it should have time to patrol Zone21 as such a passage is of vital improtance...

Liberty you were censured in RP for a breach of House rules, Zone 21 is restricted to anyone without high level SA approval, that means a lot of the SA aren't allowed anywhere near it. If you fly a Navy ship you are subject to the rule of the Navy, roleplayed in Liberty by the SA, the fact that your ship was police tagged and ID'd last time I saw it, that makes ou subject to the LPI's rules and we don't go anywhere near Zone21, unless ordered to, and that's only happened to me once.
Yes the clans run the RP aspect of the server and you were breaching RP rules not server ones, if they'd breached server rules you can bet they'd be censured themselves. And server rules always take precedence over RP ones.
As for them showing up with overwhelming force, when you're flying a carrier expect them to turn up with enough stuff to take it down, and 1 battleship and two extra fighter's is not overkill, it's just kill.

I wasn't arguing for a side having a "home field advantage" but rather how a superpower can be beaten by a smaller and considerably less powerful group. It can, and has happened.
Now in Disco terms... Corsairs aren't ever going to.. nor could they, invade Liberty, but there is no reason why they can't raid it.
Again.. Liberty factions, If you are so much more powerful then the Corsair factions.. then put your ships where your mouth is, and start sitting on the minefield entrance.
As to the argument that it couldn't be navigated without maps.. heres my answer to that:
Corsair ship reaches NY through Alaska... he is suddenly in the midst of said minefield, so he goes.. slowly, carefully, through said minefield, finding his way.. once done.. area is mapped...
Simple enough.
Area is already mapped people, god knows how many Order and Corsair pilots have gone through that area already, they know the placement of the mines, so start putting ships there to physically stop them...

As for Smugglars using Zone 21 from Crete, I can see them being escorted by cap ships because...Why?
1. Corsairs want Zone 21 open as that promotes revenue for them.
2. Indies line up on Zone 21 to kill any one that comes across.....mind you... most of these cap ships are neither LSF nor SA. These are Zoner 21 security, USS and a few others. Also, if this is such a secret location, why does Liberty Forces broadcast system wide that a corsair is spotted at Zone 21, please assist.... is that RP ? I have numerous times helped LSF, ward off and destory ships in Zone 21 for which I got paid. Is that RP ?
All I can say, I am sure Corsairs take notice when suddenly one of their buyers (probably an advanced train) is killed at Zone 21 by 2 BC's and a few other ships, and they send out caps to investigate what the dying words of that trader were referring to...

I think one of the problems here is that smuggling was not proportionally increased everywhere for the Corsairs. Artifacts still cost 914 Credits in Kusari, and 475 credits in Bretonia.
One could make a good revenue smuggling Artifacts to the Hogosha from Crete and carrying Engine Components back to Tripoli from Planet Honshu, but at their current pries, artifacts are next to worthless in Kusari when compared to Liberty, even though it has less than half the risk and about half the distance that needs to be traveled.
If the prices of smuggled goods are increased proportionally everywhere (after some math it would be 1210 Credits in Kusari and 629 Credits in Bretonia), it would spread out the smuggling routes, and keep some Corsairs out of Liberty.
Edit: After some calculations, you get 949 Credits per Engine Component from Tripoli, and 659 Credits per artifact unit in Kagoshima Depot. If proportional changes were made, it would be 955 Credits per artifact unit at Kagoshima.

1. They shouldn't use them because they like to live, not to die. And they would die, in RP.
2. There are no indies in RP.
3. About calling people on System chat to come to zone-21, agreed. They shouldn't do it.
And you should never ever be allowed to enter there, even if you are there to help the LSF or SA.
My point on this, however, is different. I would like to comment the next :

Instead of forbidding half of SA to enter Zone-21, why not moving all of them there to guard it?
That way you won't have to call the Mercs for help, and you will stop doing a "police work" for some time.
It should be accessible to all SA members, as they are the Navy.
They don't even need to know what is behind that Minefield, they are there to make sure no one enters or leaves it alive.
