I was flying my Pilgrim to The Tau-23 jumphole from 29. Normally, I let autopilot fly me, around the sun, and to the hole. So, I decided to just fly normally, around the sun, so the cruise engines don't stop.

I randomly explode, when I'm passing the sun if I do not use autopilot. Way before any sun corona warnings, or anything. Just a random catastrophic decompression.

It's happened twice now, so I take the trade lanes, but I believe it's a bug. Lost 20 mill so far from it. Although I don't expect payment for it.

Yup I know about this for some time now thats why I just autopilot, it seems to know when to stop and turn even though you are not burning.

Were fools to make war on our brothers in arms.

Sounds like the sun's deathzone and corona size aren't corresponding. I'll check this and fix it for 4.87.

Wide awake in a world that sleeps, enduring thoughts, enduring scenes. The knowledge of what is yet to come.
From a time when all seems lost, from a dead man to a world, without restraint, unafraid and free.

I haven't got problem with sun. My ships are flying around without explosion.
My ships are: Challenger, Lynx, Cougar.

I wonder which ship you used.. As i did fly for many hours within and near tau 29, still not a problem. Maybe due to the swag graphics pack? (not sure if it could give things like this as a result)

Theres also a problem with Planet Nebet in Omicron Mu, when I un-dock from akabat with transports flying to the wormhole, the planet is in the collision course, the auto pilot however doesn't respond quick enough and the ship gets caught in the atmosphere.

Edit: For Duvelske
