Right, Im just posting here because I was thinking.
Why are factions, on a per faction proposal basis, approved or rejected? We can all guess some reasons, such as wierd diplomacy or silly restrictions on ships (for example, Liberty navy flying Wraths or something similar).
But some of the finer points none of us would've guessed. For example, when TBH was made, it probably wouldn't have gotten through the admin approval process, if it was the case back then, just because of its almost indecipherable spelling.
So what I propose, is that when a faction is accepted, or rejected as the case may be, the reasons are listed as to why. For example, if a faction is accepted, reasons could be listed as follows:
1. Faction ship choices are very tight and fit with the roleplay of the faction in question, that is, a Universal Shipping faction.
2. Weapon choices are also tightly controlled, allowing only two foreign/looted guns, with the rest being civilian only. (Heavy Flashpoint/Improved Debilitator).
And so the list goes on.
To me, but more importantly to those seeking to create a faction of their own, this would be quite helpful as it would show them what and what not to include in their faction, as well as how to act around their intended RP. For those seeking to create a faction, this would be more or less a guide as to what and what not to do.
I would appreciate thoughts and comments on this matter, as I feel this could be helpful to those leaders out there..
I agree with your proposal McNeo.
People should know what (if) are they doing wrong.
