Actually, this forum isn't explicitly inRP. Generally in threads however, factions opt to restrict threads to being roleplayed, generally enforced by a faction's internal rules - for example, repeated posting OORP in an RP thread in the LN subforum would get one kicked out of the faction. Then if you're not in the faction and you're messing around in their subforum, mods come in.
As you haven't provided somewhere else for people to give feedback, I'm inclined to leave their feedback here. This is stopping short of locking the thread and stomping out the faction entirely, which awaits discussion.
The thread was too stenchy to leave it anywhere civilised, and so it was flushed to the sewers. Consider the TROLLs trounced.

As of late i've gotten quite sick of a particular thing, RP rules imo are there to guide and help keep things fun for all involved, instead ive been getting beaten over the head with the rulebook (no, not admins this isnt an admin protest) and decided to start a group of friends with a more relaxed approach and the atmosphere doesn't induce Rule Checking hysteria, given that there isnt a group that currently does, and i regually play with a couple of friends, i figured to see if people might like to join our little coeterie of friends.
Were not Internet Trolls, infact i cant stand them, I'm just someone who likes to have a relaxed view of things, and The Remarkable and Outrageous League of Laughter at the time was the only thing i could think of that i could use Troll as an abbreviation, as i said its ment to be Tongue in Cheek, but insofar as a troll under a bridge.

I understand what you're saying, and it's perfectly fine to have tongue-in-cheek roleplay with friends on a relaxed basis, so long as you play within the rules ingame and you don't overstep the line on communications in the forums.
Naming the group as you did however and specifically mixing IDs and backgrounds is not good. If you're suprised it caused problems, don't be.
I suggest you use the Freelancer or Pirate ID, and if you want to pretend you're a loose alliance from different factions, ROLEPLAY THAT. Roam around wherever you like because your ZOI is actually more or less infinite, act how you like, diplomacy how you like and engage within the rules of your ID.

Mixing ID's was simply to let us fly what we wanted, FL and generic ID's are quite impactful on Outcast/LR ships 75% according to tech-compat chart, I like the Storta and Tridente, friend prefers Scylla/RA-4 etc that was the reason behind ID's as for being suprised, i was told that people take things extremley seriously here, so to an extent im not, but then again i was expecting people to have a sense of humour, laughter solves all, its a personal philosophy, but i digress, Suprised yes and no, I treat Disco as a Game, not a second life, and if it doesnt hamper or impede on anyone else, then whats the problem tbh, when people start imposing their views and desires for other peoples fun, then maybe its time to revisit a few things.
