Anyone here play it? I have been keeping an eye on it for a while and I rather like how it looks. I have always been a fan of cyberpunk stuff, but I never played the tabletop version of Shadowrun, though I have dabbled in other tabletops.
Unfortunately my laptop is utter crap, and I am wondering how much of a system hog this game is as well... I am hoping not much of one, as it does have pre-rendered isometric backgrounds.
But other than that, if anyone has general feedback on the game, drop it here.

I played the old one online back in the day, I never really had a chance to play on paper though
I say its all about Deckers though
So anyone tried this yet? I'm very tempted to get it, grew up playing tabletop Shadowrun and I love the universe; but didn't enjoy the last computer game.
It's not very taxing, it's ok, but it seems like a demo version. Keep in mind the best in the game is yet to come as it ships with the Shadow Run editor. So expect numerous DLC adventures both official and unofficial ones. The current one is good but it's more or less a showcase of the mechanics. You said you're a fan of cyberpunk so you'll definitely like the visuals and the settings, once you get past the elves and ogres and dwarves (at least I had to) you end up with a pretty hardcore atmosphere. Crappy streets, neon, high-tech low-life it's got it all. The music is all midi but I like that as a throwback to the 80s and 90s the golden era of c-punk.
Edit: The tabletop is alright, definitely fun but nowhere near Cyberpunk 2013/2020/V3
Ye about the Trolls and Orcs and Elves (and Dragons*), I came from Fourth World / Earthdawn before playing Sixth World / Shadowrun (the Mayan calendar / Mayan world cycles thing), so for me it made perfect sense - but I can see how it can lead to some WTF moments
Anyways, I got it and finished the campaign and yeah it's very short; but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It's like a mix of tabletop Shadowrun storytelling and Fallout 1&2 turn-based style gameplay (also there are some similarities with parts of the Fallout 1 campaign).
Can't wait to see more campaigns out there (FASA published some really good ones over the years for tabletop Shadowrun, maybe some of them will be imported), hopefully as good at "Dead Man's Switch" - I found it very well written and for once I cared for both story and characters in a computer game, even though both are conveyed mainly through plain text. I guess that goes to show that a good writer trumps a good animator when it comes to bringing characters to life.
I'd recommend this game to others, just beware it's short and we'll have to wait a little while for decent user generated content. Only drawback is the savegame system (autosave on level start, no manual save) because some levels are quite lengthy and it can be frustrating having to replay them entirely if you messed up, but on the other hand you invest more of yourself in the game and try to get it right first time round and I suppose that's a good thing.
Also I would think system requirements are pretty low, I played it in 1080p windowed mode while watching Youtube and doing other stuff np.
*Spoiler alert: You'll meet one in humanoid form during the campaign
