From:Rodney Stuart To:BowexInfoNet Topic:Supplement and transportation report
Convoy participant(s): - Jason.McFurry
- Ryan Wallace
Report info: I'd like to start from supply part.....
Because our bases were nearly full i just wanted to fill the to the top. I transported: - 21.343 units of Basic Alloy
- 1715 units of Oxygen
- 1500 units of Food Rations
- 1500 units of Water from planet New London to King's Cross base. By doing that, our base is full.
I don't remember that i have ever worked like today. My good friend Jason McFurry and i received around 24.000 of Niobium ores from a BMM miner Henry Stuart which is also my brother.....
Niobium we sold on New Berlin planet for good price. From Berlin we flew to Koeln system where we bought Aluminium ores from one independent miner, we sold that on Stokes in Leeds and took Niobium ores from Henry Stuart......
As i said we transported 2* 24k of Niobium ores from Leeds to New Berlin system. Jason had to leave, but sir Wallace joined me and transported 4000 of Niobium ores from Leeds to New Berlin alongside with me.
The next thing we done is that we contacted miners from Alberta named "Platinum" and agreed to pay the particular price for Platinum ores.
Sir Wallace and i transported 4717+3940 Beryllium ores from King's Cross base to planet Pittsburgh in New York system.
The next waypoint was Alberta system....... from there we received Platinum ores which we sold in New London.
Other notes: I'd like to say thanks to Platinum Inc. and Jason.McFurry.... for great work we done on both sides.

ExSec Leam Blackburn, Virage, Employee.
General information:
The convoy, consisting of myself, the BES Wilberforce and the BES Churchill, departed from KC with gold ore. We were to meet the BES Adams at Planet New Berlin. We ran into ExSec Employee Leam Blackburn at Planet Stuttgart and he decided to come along for a while. When we reached Planet New Berlin, we were unable to reach the BES Adams and decided to try again on the way back. Mr. BlackBurn also decided to stay at the planet for the night. Soon we arrived in Munich where the transports sold and bought some goods. As we reached Planet New Berlin on the way back we ran into two Hessians. The Hessians agreed to let us pass if we were quick, so we went to Dortmund station where we met up with the BES Adams. The rest of the journey home went smooth and the BES Wilberforce and the BES Churchill docked at Planet New London. Myself and the BES Adams headed up to Newcastle for some deliveries, and then came back home to Kings Cross Station.
Incidents:
Other than the Hessians that were a tad bit hostile, nothing noteworthy came up.
Additional notes:
While waiting at Planet New Berlin our comms blacked out for a brief minute due to ION storms, but no damage to the ships or the crew were sustained.

It is with a slight twinge of sadness that I write this letter. While at age 46 I may not be that old, but Time still has had it's toll on these bones. As it stands, the Increase in pirate activity in the Omegas has caused me to rethink my career choices. I am old enough that I dont want to risk my life as much as i did back when I joined Bowex. I still consider Bowex to be the kings of the skies, and while I do enjoy working here I want something more peaceful. Our freinds over at Platinum Inc. have offered me a job opportunity that I cant ignore. So here I am writing this resignation letter with the hopes that no hard feelings spark. I know that Platinum and Bowex work together sometimes, so I may see some of you in space again someday. Until then, safe flying. And God Save The Queen

General information:
Two days ago ,The Convoy gathered at Freeport1 after loading Beryllium Ore from King's Cross, thankfully, they were kind to wait for me, as I joined a bit late and had some trouble with loading the ores.
We transported the ores to Dortmund and unloaded them, then moved to planet New Berlin and got some Basic Alloys. We traveled to Wuppertal Refinery in Koeln and unloaded them there, then loaded with HazMat Canisters and traveled to Scarborough to drop them. In the end, we loaded with Toxic Waste and got them to Southampton.
Incidents:
On my way to Omega3 with the ores, a Molly Bomber managed to catch me near the Jump Gate, I tried stalling a bit till Mr.Graham got to my position and engaged him till I got far enough.
After dropping the Alloys at Wuppertal, BES Kingston suffered some engine issues and had to stay there.
When we arrived at Freepor1, Mr.graham decided to dock there and have a good rest.
Additional notes:
Of course, the escorts were payed generously for there great work.
Just a little note: While in the way back near Freaport1, we spotted three Liberty Navy vessels from the auxiliary fleet, I wonder what those yanks were doing there.
BES Churchill, Shire, senior employee Jack Silvain.
General information:
The convoy started from King's Cross Station where the BES Churchill and Miranda loaded up cobalt ore and the BES Montfort and Crowley got beryllium. We flew via Magellan to New York and split by Fort Bush to unload the cobalt on Denver and beryllium on Pittsburgh.
On the way home the BES Churchill and Miranda carried superconductors from Denver and the BES Montfort and Crowley carried boron from Pittsburgh. The superconductors were sold to the BMM (unloaded on Southampton shipyard), as was the boron (Thames station).
Incidents:
You wouldn't bleeding believe what happened on this trip. Usually it's the pirates that get you, but here was a seemingly friendly Titanic captain on our way back in New London. I believe he flew for Cryer, but the Eagle's black box will confirm or deny that. Right as I was coming on towards Canterbury station, this reckless captain rams me with his transport, resulting in the inconvenient destruction of my ship. Luckily, Mr. Stinger was alert enough to get the escape pod quickly and set me off on the 'Cross. I also hurt my shoulder in the affair; I hope we'll sue them for this.
Additional notes:
I'd like a few days off to mend my shoulder, please. Oh, and Roy is drinking Libertonian tea, can I file a complaint about that? If not, I'd like to file a complaint about our complaint policies.

William is seen bashing the camera with his fist. Actually... not William, but his belly, his beard, and of course, his fist. But that makes most of his body mass, so we can say it was William, without being too wrong. He takes the camera, turns it around, bashes it a bit more, and finally realizes it actually works, and that it's actually working right now. What is really a wonder after so much bashing. He puts it a bit higher, so it can record his face.
"Oh... Eh... Hello, chaps!"
He smiles slightly twice. His cheeks redden.
"Well... eh... We had a convoy yesterday."
"Well... eh...", although meaning absolutely nothing profound, was immensely significant for William. It made the faulty part of his brain concentrated at speaking nonsense, while other parts could devote themselves to reunification with each other.
"It was composed of three Shires, the Churchill, the Montford, and the Lipton, captained by myself. We were escorted by an Eagle from the ExSec. The two waited for me in New London, while I was coming from Omega-3. Not to go empty, I loaded my Shire with 3880 units of robotics, leaving 5 empty units in my cargo hold, and departed for King's Cross. We met there. I loaded my ship with beryllium ore and departed to New Berlin. All went smooth until there, and a bit later, under the condition the chaps didn't find my Omicron stories too frightening or disgusting. We loaded our ships with basic alloy, sold it in Munich, and loaded them with cigars there.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, depends from what angle you look at it, the chaps liked smoking, and have already spend at least a half of their loads when we met some Gateway ships in Omega-3. We wished them a good day and proceeded, but we were prevented, since they disrupted the trade lane lane and demanded the cigars. Caring for the Bretonians' strong wish to get lung cancer, we denied the demand. The Gateway bomber and their freighter started shooting at us. There was also a freelancer Ahoudori, who I tried to hire, but I got no reply. The captain said "Oh, I better get paid for this engaging...", and engaged us. It seemed he prefered Gateway money over our.
The ExSec pilot told us to shoot at the gunboat, and that's what most of us did. The Montford, however, seemed to be too busy with the results of their choice of economy over armor. My own ship was really heavily affected by the Omicrons' ion storms in her old APM days, and her electrical systems tend to be choosing themselves when to shut down and when to turn on. They were offline for around a minute, right after a Nova hit. When they turned on again, the Lipton had somehow managed to get to about 5 clicks away from the battle, but I was sure we could survive helping our chaps. Fortunately, the repairs I activated during the jam worked. It seems only my cameras and guns were offline.
So, we closed in again, and unleashed all 12 type fours at the gunboat, which quickly fell. Unfortunately, so did the Montford. The Churchill was now under fire by the bomber and the freighter, with most of her guns probably disabled by the second, or the third Nova hit. We closed in for nanobot sharing, but a supernova cannon appeared to be faster. The Churchill exploded and we picked all the survivors up, same as we did with the Montford. Nice to leave some cargo space empty, isn't it?
The bomber was now out of nanobots and rendered out of batteries by combined fire of the Lipton and the ExSec pilot. It was quickly downed. The freighter had no choice, but to dock on Aland. I docked the Lipton there as well, after we evaluated the situation at the end. The Lipton had 500 batteries and 404 nanobots left, our hull damage was light, but our turrets were heavily damaged by the Nova. Total repair cost was a bit more than 300,000 credits. I tried to find the Gateway pilot and face him eye to eye... or fist to face, rather! But the coward hid somewhere, and I couldn't find him. So, I departed to planet New London and delivered those 3880 units of cigars, along with the disabled Shires' crews. We were escorted by mister Frost, but it seems the escort was unneeded, since all flowed safely and quietly.
If any proof about what has happened is required, it is stored on Lipton's memory, and I am copying it to my computer on New London right now."

Convoy participants:
BES Aethelred, Shetland, Trainee Peter Cullen .
ExSec Kiriko Hidamari, Hussar
General information:
After meeting up in orbit of New London station, Ms. Kiriko proceeded to escort the Aethelred to Scarborough Shipyard, carrying basic alloys to the skunk works to meet scheduled repairs. Super Alloy was then transferred to Baltimore Shipyard in New York, following which a supply of Boron was procured from Planet Pittsburg for profit. The Boron, amounting to (4975) units was transported back to Scarborough Shipyard for processing. Total profit amounted to ~15.000.000 credits.
Incidents:
The trip to Liberty was surprisingly quiet, which I would attribute to the security measures taken by the convoy escort. Ms. Kiriko encountered an pirate transport in range of the Leeds -> New London jump gate, but the convoy was able to move past the individual without combat or incident. Additional notes:
I would like to request additional information from the Personnel department on the employment history of pilot Kiriko Hidamari. Please transfer the encoded files to my personal data reader. If you could expedite this request without alerting anyone, I'd much appreciate it.
BES Orange, Shire, ExSec manager Richard Farbridge.
General information:
We moved two Shireloads of luxury food from planet Cambridge, Cambridge to planet Manhattan, New York. From there we moved general consumer goods to planet Pittsburgh two lanes away, and then boron back to Thames, New London from there.
Incidents:
No serious attacks were attempted against the convoy.
Additional notes:
I must hereby officially file a complaint against Mr. Farbridge being eligible to captain a transport. He has on numerous occasions shown that he is not capable of doing so, being outclassed by even most non-supervisors/managers; with his position it is downright shameful. As ExSec manager he'd be the one person I expect to follow protocol. I here attach some audio logs of Farbridge from just this convoy alone.
Breaking standard convoy protocol by not reporting status properly to scout:
Richard Farbridge Wrote:Bowex)Orange: Sheffield already? Hold there will ya
Bowex)Hans.Liljefors.: Why, are you forgetting to report your location?
Bowex)Orange: Richard: 'Cause the lead transport is supposed to do that
[...]
Bowex)Orange: Richard: Well officially... We're both supposed to do that
Unnecessarily endangering another ship:
Richard Farbridge Wrote:Bowex)Orange: Sorry 'bout that, Montford
Bowex)Montfort: Roy: No problem, shields are stable
Encouraging breaking of protocol:
Richard Farbridge Wrote:Bowex)Hans.Liljefors.: Clear [to Fort Bush]
Bowex)Orange: Moving to Fort Bush, entering lane now.
Bowex)Montfort: Roy: Moving to Pittsburgh [without any complaints from Farbridge]
Bowex)Hans.Liljefors.: Without clears? Excellent showing of how you deserve your rank, Farbridge
Bowex)Orange: Richard: Experience Hans. Pure experience... Pirates hardly ever hit a convoy inbound to Pittsburgh.
Yet it was not even a year ago that myself, Mr. S. Wolfe and G. O'Farrell were all but killed on this particular lane (Bowex convoy incident #93.223095 - the BES Wilberforce, BES Redgrave and BES Rutherford, Fort Bush/Pittsburgh incident of 820 A.S.).
Further encouraging breaking of protocol:
Richard Farbridge Wrote:Bowex)Orange: Protocol schmotocol. It was written by pencil pushers and legal attorneys
Using improper and unclear terminology when reporting to scout:
Richard Farbridge Wrote:Bowex)Orange: Slow poke is slow
[...]
Bowex)Orange: In the bright light [Note: Meaning "Lead now moving towards Mojave"]
[...]
Bowex)Orange: Roger, handbrake turning [Note: Not an official maneuver covered in any version of the Bowex Captain's Handbook]
Abuse of rank by insulting a lower ranking employee:
Richard Farbridge Wrote:Bowex)Hans.Liljefors.: [Clear to Sheffield station]
Bowex)Orange: You mean the only place you can afford a decent home in Manchester?
As is clearly audible, the emphasis on the second "you" indicates my income is inferior to his own.
Abuse of power by ordering attack on government property to a lower ranking employee:
Richard Farbridge Wrote:Bowex)Montfort: Roy: Uhh got a problem with the gate
Bowex)Orange: Shoot it until it listens
This is even without mentioning most personal insults and a general lack of respect towards employees. I hope Mr. Farbridge's behaviour will be investigated and appropriate actions taken.
