You failed to help your friend to familiarize with the environment and the basics. We simply follow the established behaviour in situations with given information (or lack thereof). Your complaint bases off on assumption that we should have known he is a new player. A false and unrealistic assumption at that. People behind the displays don't have the capacity to read minds of another player.
Like veteran players are flying around with no armor. Plus the fact that if I was there, I'd fight back, I rarely tend to run from a fight even if the odds are well against me.

But not everyone is you, and you're not the template for everyone else.
Third time's a charm, they say. Try again?
No offense, Panny, but you're making a huge stretch there for your agument, one that I don't agree with myself. Of course you are sadpanda about your friend deciding that's not his type of game, but that's neither our fault here. We are not jugglers, singers and jokers to entertain your friend to meet his own personal expectations.

Might have exaggerated a bit, if that made him not wish to play the game he'd probably quit soon enough anyway. Could have, should have. g'day.
Gotta do it, because I am slightly irritated with such behaviour of the official faction. The topic is your capital ships in Kusari yesterday. Ladies and Gents, if you are official faction, then RP your ways, not use some game bugs and your cookies on other players to have your own fun. Using eternal cloak and ramming other players to death is fun and all, but really, it is just as retarded as DPC attacks.
sorry, just couldn't stop myself from posting here after reading your answer that timmy posted in knf chat.
"It was not intentional" is total lie, because even if it was small space near Kansai there can fit even 10 kusari BSes without ramming each other, I also docked on base and relogged on liner, upon undoking I was bumped, it means that BS was standing right near doking point without any good reason, you don't need to be on top of ship to rp with it via PM you know, and funny thing that it happened twice, wich is kind of obvious that it's not accidentally, yes he didn't rammed them to death like you can in TL, he just bumped them into mine field.
When I'm off enjoying some Roleplay in Magellan, and I'm about to go enjoy a fight with that infected Nomad cruiser sitting above the freeport, don't ever uncloak a Marduk and Insta-kill someone. That's just cheap and low. A rule should be put in place preventing that, because it really killed the fun. Not only did he insta-kill me, but he said four words that were completely out of context, considering whatever he was talking about I nor half the people present were there for. So not only was there a piss-poor engagement, but some piss-poor roleplay as well. I honestly expected better. Seriously, four words and a Marduk appears right next to me. A lot of people saw it too, that was crap.
Get something in place, seriously. You've got infinite cloaks that can clearly be abused for PvP, and I generally don't care what you ID says, because it's a load of crap thrown on to a page, and generally kills Roleplay. If you want to claim a blue message, at least appreciate the roleplay present within the scene instead of dropping four words, FOUR, WORDS, and blowing someone up in three shots.
We should start counting how many times the 'first thing' that comes out of peoples mouth, is "Kill that Nomad".
I bet its 9 times out of 10. That escalates to us saying our few words needed for an engagement, and begin shooting before we get murdered by the incoming gank.
Seriously people. I've had YET very rarely, which actually goes quite well when it does to see a long drawn-out session of people who put away the guns, and actually 'try' to RP with us. Its always when this does happen, waiting for more caps to show up.
