Cloaks and Stuff On NPC Stations

So I just had the thought that during this whole Beta test period, there should be cloaks/jump drives/docking modules/hyperspace scanners sold on NPC bases.


Why you ask? Well, people know a rollback is going to happen, as such, many people have let their bases die, and even if they haven't, they aren't going to put in a bunch of work hauling supplies for those things when a rollback is just going to undo all that.


In order for people to adequately test things in relation to those pieces of equipment, they need to be readily available, which is why I suggest adding them on NPC bases for sell during this testing phase.

Personally, I'd rather people with bases just start making them. I made a thread in the marketplace saying me and my friends would grind up the necessary materials, we just need someone with a base that can actually make the things. I'd actually prefer that as it gives me and my friends something to do other than fight for glorious Gallia.

No one is going to put in the work for beta to make a cloak, jump, etc.
So for BETA I dont mind for testing purposes.

Sure y not.

If we have no more player bases and will need to sell them somewhere... well then thats a whole other story in itself for post-Beta.

That said, and this is a bit off-topic. I've noticed that nothing short of battleships can even use jump drives. That is more than a little depressing. Three types of jump drives and only battleships can use any of them. I thought for sure at least the lower level jump drives could be used by smaller ships, but nope. Battleship or nothing. Fucking stupid if you ask me. I'm hoping, for ALL the equipment, the devs get rid of the 'cargo space' requirement. It seems redundant, like missile turrets taking both missile turrets and energy. Only one limiter is needed. Either make it take cargo space or give it a dedicated slot, it doesn't need both fucking limiters.
