Because a few factions only have access to class 7 weapons, and nothing below it. And because the D18 and D19 snubs are used in "pew a group of NPCs" types of missions which should still offer a little bit of a challenge. Dropping NPC weapons down a level almost halves their damage output. If they're still too strong we can adjust them again, but I doubt that will be neccesary.

IMG transport was intended to be a twelve gunner, styled similar to the Akegata, Aerelm... I made the damn thing, I should know
If you and Blodo decided 12 guns was too much, fine... but the model was intended for them.

By "intended" I of course meant the intended balance, since modelers don't really confer with the balance team regarding the displayed properties in the mesh so there are a lot of models which 'look' like they should have a different number of hardpoints or a different set of equipment, while they don't. So yea... That ship was modeled to be a 12-gunner battletrans but the balance for it was decided to be of a 10-gunner battletrans to add a bit of variety to the ships IMG can use above 75%, instead of giving them 3 Shire-clones of nearly the exact same stats and properties.
Regardless of that, the current IMG battletransport having 10 guns is not a bug, and spaming bug report threads about it would not help even one bit. I'd personally suggest IMG players use that ship for a while and once they're used to it, post a thread in balance discussion subforum if they still believe it should become a 12-gunner battletrans (which IMG already can use 2 different clones of - Shire itself and the Uruz - both at 90%).
There are several of the new commodities that still aren't for sale anywhere. Hull Segments, Plamonic Metamatreials, Optronic Arrays, Armaments, Quantum Arrays, just to name a few. If they weren't needed for bases it would be fine, but they are and apparantly intended to be base supplies.
Every Time when I fly from our base to Crete I find myself in our base again when I docked. Only when I fly first to the Skyros Station, I can dock normally and can buy commodities.
With my Base Construction Platform i can`t dock not at all ! (Crete)
