It would seem whatever the high-level techs were doing on the Jinsei-Akki took a shorter ammount of time then the hard work. It was the 8th day, just before Xizer was going to put his plan into action, when a small klaxon blared.
"Attention, all personell, please evacuate airlock tubes and airlocks. Science Vessel Jinsei-Akki is undocking. All personell, please evacuate airlock tubes and airlocks. Science Vessel Jinsei-Akki is undocking."
Indeed, many of the empty tubes detached with a clang, and it was only a small ammount of time untill the Kusari guards had left the other tubes when they too unlocked. The Jinsei-Akki was under it's own power, it would seem.
"All personell, Jinsei-Akki reads full green status. All checks compleated. The Jinsei-Akki is under way. Congratulations Yukawa Shipyard. A week of paied leave is apportioned to all Kirshiro personell for a job-well-done."
A chear ran through the station at this announcement. All save a few; The Kusari guards and Xizer, who had just doused himself in cold water for the event. Outside the station, the Jinsei-Akki's engines flared to full life and it pulled away, the ships outside slowly dispersing.
The Jinsei-Akki was back in service.
(Well, if anyone needs a science ship for RP reasons, don't hesitate to contact me. And yes, this event is over. Well done to everyone!)
This is the real true story of rock and roll; it was not about anything more then, how to live your life, as a gangster, in sartorial splendor, and turning the world into a place where normality would never return again...- Malcolm McLaren
The following few days Xizer made his way back to the Omicrons, only to find massive Rheinland fleets moving through the Sigmas. He silently followed them by flying through asteroid fields, and sometimes just hanging outside of sensor range but their big battleship still in visual range.
