Quote:No, no, no. If I remember correctly, it only used JH's that you had actually found. Again it was some time ago, so I don't remember exactly, but I think you had to actually find the JH's first.
Actually, that's a good thing, all considered. It makes the player do the exploring but gives a larger reward for getting it done. I say integrate it.
FLCompanion is as bad, if not worse, than Datastorm.

I'm a crazy mapper, know most the jumpholes by heart and it's pissing me off when I have to dig in the deepest parts of my memory to remember where theat effin' jumphole was.
I know FL can set waypoints, with jumpholes - it's done even in 1.0 for missions in neighbouring systems. Definitely worth implementing for setting the shortest known path.
i think its a matter of the ship class. if i am sitting in a small fighter or bomber, the IA flys directly to the planet, stops like 200m in front of the atmosphere, flys tight arround the planet and docks. i guess it just isnt used to your freighters/BSs size.
and im not so sure about that auto-pilot thing. i can allready see the posts of pirates, complaining that they have to shoot ever lazy trader who spends more time on the desktop or god knows where, than paying him out. it realy could kill a lot: traders lifes or pirates time :/
