I think they are missile bays, but Xing would have to comment there.

side grey doors are for large missile - something like planetary bombardment or to wreck large ships. but this is only rp weapon.

the hangar however, was originally to store a wing-folded partisan light fighter. Or a spy drone.

Destroyer is beautiful, but it seems a bit.. small? To me at least..
How big is it compared to, let's say, Liberty Cruiser?
It looks to me like it's a gunboat size, rather then cruiser/destroyer.

Can't let you bash folks in your sig Chopper-Del

Compare it to the Kusari Destroyer, maybe?

make it slightly larger, slightly. it needs a little length granted it was designed a bit like a sub, i think having that effect will greatly increase it's popularity.

Must I read through 12 pages?
My question is, but didn't we run from the colalition?
What's the RP there?
They chased us?
What's next?
Unitation of the houses?
War?

Send me a PM and I'll get back to you on that, since this thread is to discuss the ships themselves. At present, due to absence of leadership, the SCRA's faction status is on an 'under construction' status. However, that doesn't mean we've not been busy little Coalitioners in our evil bunkers, so I'm willing to let folk know what we have so far over PM.

well I haven't played starlancer, so I don't know much about all that pre-freelancer stuff.

I saw starlancer in the local used bookstore.
might see if it's still there. I looked it up on wiki and it didn't look taht great. though I am interested in leaerning about all that pre-FL stuff.

On the topic of the ships, I like them, they're really cool. I think I've seen them somewhere... were they in the opening movie?

No.
Or, rather, yes, but not really.
But in fact, maybe.

Alright, here's my uber secret formula for each ship:
Partisan: is an inspiration from a star wars B-wing, the introduction anonymous coalition fighter from freelancer intro movie, and the starlancer Basilik.
Insurgent and Revolutions: are inspired from the old MiG with weird noses. General shape though is a bulkier Partisan.
Typhoon: inspiration from a soviet submarine while engine configuration inspired from intro coalition capships.
