While not much has been done, everything seems the same. If It ends up being different, good on you.
That being said, good luck going for officialdom(again).
The entire roster has changed vastly, the leadership included, we are almost entirely starting anew in this one and we have not really gotten started up yet so I hope that with some time we'll be able to make HF a bit more interesting. You are more than welcome to join despite our past conflict, Andrew.
Zelot Wrote:How will you interact with HF indies?
Cordially and cooperatively, while I'd hope many join us rather than fly untagged, we will be more than willing to include indies in our agenda.

Feel free, we'll need as much help as we can get this time around.
Evo Wrote:Well.. I must say, this is surprising. You've got XA's support as always. Good luck.
Evo, thanks for your words mate, I always had fun flying with you and the XA and we'll be sure to have many more moments.
KaiserDietz Wrote:*sigh* i hope you'll be selective in your recruitment, beware those interested only in pews and tech.
Kaiser, that's why the HF ID allows indies.
Ndk071 Wrote:Good to see you put this back together, i have fun memories in the [HF], let me know if you need anything. Good luck.
Cheers, Nik, can do - and should you wish, you are always welcome to come back.

The recruitment thread will be posted within the next few days and the faction itself will be becoming active in game, any members of the previous incarnation of HF may return without any re-application, only a PM to me for a chat invite.
The only issue I'd have in the Legion ow would be indies, considering I watched two HF indies kill the Navy instead of aiding them in repelling Gallia. That broke my heart.

More Roleplay wise, my time in the Legion was a learning experience. The Legion normally is supposed to repel foreign invaders, even if it means temporarily allying with Lawfuls like Liberty, etc.
From both a lore and ex-faction-member perspective, the Legion's interaction with Gallia isn't set in stone. However, you can't blame indies for following what the ID says.
Edit: Also, by request, I've got an improved faction background writeup in the pipeline. The current one can be considered a placeholder for the moment.
Also, yes, the FacStat post is missing a few key details, such as key faction objectives, ZoI etc.

I know that the Legion's MO would be stop foreign invaders, however the ID was probably limited to keep another faction from shooting the GRN. You already have VR/Bretonia/Liberty/Colonials/freelancers all shooting the GRN. Plus the HF ID is essentially a Liberty Terrorist ID.
Besides, some people (I included) don't want to be sanctioned. Simple as that :|
Power does not corrupt. Fear corrupts... perhaps the fear of a loss of power.

From an outside perspective (one that's had knowledge of the Hellfire Legion's roleplay for several years), it would not surprise me if the Legion can find (somewhat garbled) encrypted transmissions whose source is the systems surrounding Vespucci as well.
That said, I've enjoyed my interactions with the Legion 2.0 in the few weeks. Keep it up.
