It's all good, exept one thing: the nav map screen. PICTURE
Everything looks good: asteroid fields, nebulas, stations, backgound.... but wait. Why are the lines seperating the sectors like that? I don't like it that way. So I figured that a certain file is causing this. I started replacing files from the original FL installation, to see which one is causing the trouble. And I found out its zoomedmap_liberty.3db
Here is what the nav map screen looks with it: PICTURE
Replacing the file fixed the lines! But also changed to the default background. I could use it like that but... it's... you know... yeah. It's better when its black.
So, here's what I need help with. I want the background from the 1st pic, with the normal lines (lines seperating the sectors). I could open the file and edit it, but I didn't find any program to do so.
PS: zoomedmap_liberty.3db is located in DATA / INTERFACE / NEURONET / NAVMAP / NEWNAVMAP
Uh the interface looks good indeed but it works nice with the default background as well. Althou if someone can fix the lines i think it would ideed look greate with black background. Have you try to look for a program on google or statlacer to find a program to edit it?
The system background is actually a texture file, and the grids are not inserted on top of the background independently but are part of the background texture. So if you want to have a black background with the default grids, you'll have to make it yourself as a .tga file, then use UTF editor or a similar program to import it into the .3db file you mentioned.
