I am reporting the first stage of Mission 21, Phase 1, The reconnoitering of the Illinois system.
After ascertaining the location of the Jump Hole to enter the Illinois system, I bagan formulating a plan to get in. As with most secure systems I knew it was very likely that there would be weapons platforms just on the other side of the hole. So I enlisted the help of some very expert programmers on Leiden base.
We designed a "spike" that would trick the weapons platforms into thinking they had destroyed my vessel once one of their missiles struck home. Much to my dismay, upon entering the system there was also stationed nearby a Dreadnaught class vessel. I decided to play the game anyway and, it worked perfectly. It appears that the Dread monitors signals from the platforms, so once the spike told them I was dead, there was no further pursuit from the Dread. I will say though, allowing a missile to destruct on my shields was quite a nerve wracking experience. I was able to thrust with engines off to a safe distance from the Jump Hole.
In addition to the Dreadnaught, there are two other stations in close proximity to the Jump Hole. Here are guncam images of the placements of these facilities:
There is also a planet, with another Large space station in orbit. Not far from here is another Jump Hole. After initial scans I followed this Jump Hole to its destination, and lo and behold it led to the Oita system.
Here are guncam images of the space station, the planet, and a relative distance to known installations in the Oita system upon exiting the Jump Hole:
Once I gathered all the intel I could, I decided it was time to find Attica Supermax. This did not prove to be difficult. Finding it was easy. Getting into close proximity to it is another matter entirely. Attica is surrounded by a minefield approximately 12k deep, as you can see:
You can also see what appears to be an entrance to the minefield.
I followed a marked path through the minefield, which was big enough for at most a Freighter class vessel. This path though led to a dead end, which terminated at approximately 4 k from the prison. Perhaps an opening could be made at this relatively thin area of the minefield. However, while probing this thin area, I happened to detonate a few of the mines. Two mines managed to completely decimate my shield, while a third did some damage to my hull. It was at this point I decided to exit very carefully from the minefield, and the system and get both my ship repaired, and my nerves calmed.
Attica would have to wait until another day.
I am reporting the completion of Mission 21, Phase 1, The reconnoitering of the Illinois system.
Once repairs were completed to my Scimitar, I was ready to figure out the Attica minefield.
The main entrance to the minefield is not hard to find. It is of course guarded by two weapons platforms. I got a good run at the entrance and then powered down my ship and coasted past the platforms until I got to a safe distance. The path is a maze, it would be easy to get lost in this place, however, prisoner transports are rather large, and there is really only one path these ships can choose. I stayed low to the path and took the first left, and then the first right, and voila I was in! Once clear of the minefield however the Supermax facility itself was able to get a lock on my ship, at which time it opened fire on me. I dodged incoming fire, and managed to get some good images of the facility, including the only docking point:
The mooring fixture is directly below the facility in the center.
It is interesting to know that once inside the minefield, all communication is cut off. At first this might seem like a bad thing, but it is not. All communication from Attica is also cut off from stations on the outside. Orders must be transmitted directly by ship to the facility.
Once I made my way back out of the minefield and was returning to the Colorado Jump Hole, I was spotted by a lone Liberator patrol. I was easily able to destroy his vessel and take him into custody, for interrogation. I returned to Cochrane Depot with this prisoner.
Also here is a completed map of the system:
I propose that a direct assault on Attica to extricate a prisoner would be nigh impossible. However hijacking a prisoner transport and hacking the correct release orders would be relatively easy for the more experienced operatives in our midst. The easiest way to get a prisoner out, would be to give them what they expect, a transport with the correct paperwork showing up at their doorstep and getting said prisoner released to our custody. There is no way for them to verify the orders without waiting an extensive period of time, and frankly, they would not be expecting anything other than the routine transfers.
The complete isolation of Attica, while preventing escape from within, could also be used to our advantage.
This report checks the completion of both phases of Mission 22.
While approaching the jumphole to Alabama, a first contact was made. A vessel identifying as [ALG]-TGS-Bornsen[R]. Apparently I wasn't the only one interested in the Xenos at the time. As the taken shot shows, this Rheinlander was filled to the brim with Xeno prisoners. After a short questioning, he claimed the near hundred Xenos were simply captured in self defense, and thus sharing a few of them wouldn't be a problem. I fit as many Xenos in my hold as possible, which will be transfered to an interrogation vessel as soon as possible for further questioning about the Alabama system.

Suns
The system has a single sun, a Medium Blue Green located at the center of the system, with the following specifications. The corona is fairly small, small enough to not be even slightly hindering to any travel conducted between Gonzales Station and the Kepler Jumphole
Planets, moons and planetoids
Death Valley
A world covered by deserts. Basic scans show that this planet is rich in untamed resources. The planet itself is unsuitable for colonisation.
Dante's View
A small, icy moon belonging to the planet Death Valley.
Nebulae and asteroid fields
Lake Manly Ice Field
A medium sized field of ice asteroids encompassed by a nebula composed primarily of water and oxygen. The Xenos seem to use this as their main supply of water and oxygen, judging from the Stolen Gas Miner in their posession.
SAC-T45b Asteroid Field
A medium sized field of asteroids with no notable features.
System's Defenses
The Alabama system is overloaded with Weapon Platforms. Every solar object is surrounded by a set, with the exception to the Fukuoka Jumphole and Gonzales Station and its Gas Miner.
The Kepler jumphole is surrounded by a set of 12 platforms in a circle formation. Any unprepared low shielded vessel entering Alabama can be taken down by surprise by this first line of defense, so caution is adviced when entering the system.
Alamo base is surrounded by two group of 4 weapon platforms in box formation, an inner and outer group. While the the platforms are far away enough from each other to create a measly defense for anything on high speed, a focussed attack on Alamo would likely prove fatal, as a target even on afterburner is enough for them to nail it down.
Refugio Base is surrounded by a set of 4 platforms in box formation. The sheer size of Refugio make them fairly obsolete when one would attack the station from the top or bottom, however.
Gonzales station would be the least secured Xeno installation in the system. Its only defenses are its own turrets, and potentially the turrets of its Gas Miner. However, the station is hidden deeply inside the Lake Manly ice field and nebula, providing it with natural defenses including poor vision and medium sized asteroids. A single bomber wing which would manage to bypass Alabama's prime defenses could easily inflict serious damage to this installation.
The Alabama system also has plenty of patrols to keep the system clear of intruders. They've been spotted around every installation, and even the Fukuoka jumphole. I personally eviscerated two of their ships in order to capture two of their pilots. These will be transfered over to an interrogation vessel as soon as possible, along with the Xenos captured from the ALG vessel.
Alabama is a poorly reinforced system, its patrols being very basic, along with the primitive use of weapon platforms as defenses. A multitude of ships can easily enter the system, drawing fire from each other from the weapon platforms, in order to conduct any harmful business they wish to conduct. Seeing as the Fukuoka jumphole is entirely left unattended, it would be possible to use this system as a backdoor, given the Fukuoka system is easy to traverse. The following Xenos will be brought in for interrogation.
Route from Ellesmere to Alaska
Threat Assessment : Mild to Moderate
Weapons platforms near Jump hole into Alaska, Nothing on the Alaska side.
Multiple stations and weapons platforms leading to Ellesmere, nothing insurmountable. No patrols witnessed.
Determination : The best route in and out of system appears to be through high security LSF and LPI systems, from Colorado to Illinois to Oita to Ellesmere then finally Alaska. The return route should be the same. Weapons distractions for rescue vessels should be performed by lighter and more maneuverable ships on the way to prisons. Speed and surprise are important factors, as the emptiness of these systems and stations will not remain if pilots do not hustle. A small escort group of 2 fighters and one Marine Assault transport of varying varieties should be sufficient, as larger forces tend to attract attention.
Route via Jump hole entire span of journey. Exact coordinates given on need to know basis.
MISSION 25: COLLECT DATA ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE CONSENSUS
Recently we have noticed increased activity of AI vessels in the Omicron region linked to the emergence of an entity called Artificial Intelligence Consensus. Travel to the Omicron region in order to investigate it. Use Meskhenet Station in Omicron Zeta as your base of operations. Until phase 3 maintain low profile and secrecy.
Phase 1: Investigate size, organizational structure, behavioural patterns and technology employed by the Consensus.
Phase 2: Asses security level and existing safeguards of the AI Consensus by attempting to hack their units and plant trojans and other viruses.
Phase 3: Prepare and execute operation aimed to capture or disable and then retrieve AI Consensus vessel.
Summary
This entry summarizes mission 25 coordinated by me and performed by Mr Nikolai Diavolo, Mr Milton Krest, Mr Orlov and Mr Norman Bates. This is chronological reconstruction of events.
Resource 1: Initial intelligence for mission formulation is received from the Order. Resource 2: Permission to use Meskhenet Station in Omicron Zeta as a base of operations is given by Admiral Golański of the Order. Resource 3: Mr Nikolai Diavolo is assigned to Mission 25 and fails to complete it. Resource 4: Mr Milton Krest is assigned to Mission 25. Resource 5: Mr Milton Krest is killed while completing phase 2 of the mission. Resource 6: An arrangement to acquire AI Drone Shield with Richard Cole from Temporary Autonomous Zoners is made. Resource 7: Assignment 52 for Lane Hacker Assassins is formulated in order to further completion of the mission. Resource 8: An arrangement with Mr Erich Stoltenberg is made and a report on AI activity prepared by das Büro der Marineintelligenz is received. This completes phase 1 of the mission. Resource 9: Mr Norman Bates completes Assassin's assignment delivering remnants of 5 AI vessels to Leiden Base, recovers Mr Milton Krest's preliminary report on AI activity in the region, as well as performs supplementary experiments on captured vessel. This supplements phase 1 and completes phase 3 of the mission. Resource 10: Mr Orlov secures AI Drone Shield delivered by Mr Richard Cole and brings it to Leiden Base for further study. This supplements phase 3 of the mission.
MISSION 14, PHASE 2: Shadow and report on an Ageira| tagged transport.
Greetings, I have completed Mission 14 Phase 2.
I completed mission in covert ship with fake transponder "Netfire".
USI me informed that there is an Ageira Security ship in Bering and Miss Hunter authorized me to complete this assignment.
I detected vessel when I jumped in, I followed him to Freeport 2 what he used as base of operations, I used my faked backstory and he asked does I want group up with him, I accepted because in group I had perfect possibilities to shadow and track his activities, it seems Ageira has bought gunboat(s) to their security wing, and they are cooperating with Bounty Hunters Guild, he's primary targets were Unioners but once he also attacked to Rogue wing, of course I tried to make so little damage what my cover allowed to Rogues, but Ageira vessel and his another Freelancer helper had to run when Rogues dispatched 3 Destroyers. When some more Unioners were killed I finished tracking operation at Freeport 2 when target said he will take rest, by the way targets name is: Alan Pace.
MISSION 26, PHASE 2: Counterfeit Software to Freital Base, then Blood Diamonds to Padua Base.
Greetings, I and Mr.Orlov have completed Mission 26 Phase 2.
We started operation from Leiden and setted course towards Omegas we went there through Bretonian space, we reached Freital without any major problems, we took Blood Diamonds and headed to Stuttgart, we stopped at Heisenberg in Koeln for repairs, and headed to Hamburg after that, from Hamburg we headed to Hudson where we encountered our first unexpected problem, Battleship Alma what was previously stationed in Quebec, but now it is moved next to Cold Bay Depot, anyway we got away from it and rest of the trip went like we planed.
I can confirm shifts in jump hole network! I took my brand new Bayonet and I checked these locations:
California: Sector Gamma-Three
- Sector Gamma-Three past: Virginia jump hole, behind New York gate
- Sector Gamme-Three present: Sector is clear, Virginia hole is gone.
Texas: Sector Falcon-Three
- Sector Falcon-Three past: Virginia Jump gate inside minefield
- Sector Falcon-Three present: Jump gate is gone, minefield is gone ... Sector is clear and it looks like there was nothing
Kansas: Sector Falcon-Four
- Sector Falcon-Four past: Virginia jump hole was located in asteroid field.
- Sector Falcon-Four present: This sector is clear too ... Large asteroid field is empty without signals about Jump hole...
Looks like Virginia gate and holes are gone ... But lot of jump holes didn't change their locations... Something in my mind says, it isn't job of nature...
I'm reporting completition of phase 02, Mission 28.
Yesterday was Mr Scorpius engaged by Lapdogs in Minnesota system, we also discovered Rheinland ships there and I checked situation. I met Liberty fleet and I flew to the ice cloud, where I discovered heavily protected mine field. In the middle of the field is Virginia gate.
Minnesota gate, in Virginia, is protected by Dreadnought and two Battlecruisers.
Richmond station protection include stationary weapons and platforms.
Washington shipyard is protected by minefield. There's one long corridor full of weapon platforms and four Battlescruisers are guarding entrances.
Anyway I found Radford Research station and strange anomaly under the station. Station hasn't got good protection. It's second time when I found minefield in cloud and it's second time when I had to change my underwear. I couldn't find entrance, but Navy surprised me again. I found entrance, thanks to Navy Battlecruiser guarding it again. Inside was "jump hole" but it looks, this jump hole is inactive ... Few minutes later I found another battlecruisers, they were guarding Alaska jump hole. But still I'm interested in jump hole inside minefield ... Why are they keeping it if it's inactive... Maybe this jump hole and that anomaly under Radford have same origin...
I am happy to announce, that the Phase #1 of Mission #29 is completed. It was dangerous area around Planet Leeds, because there were over 14 hostile vessels in total, not to count the support from the stationary battleship. However, all went without a glitch. I am uplinking the scans and comments.
Relevant data: GRN|Maurice.Cornett. - Bomber
EMP Cannons are mounted to counter numerous capital ships the opposition is fielding.
Mosquito Cruise Disruptor is to be used with Nuclear Mines to counter any snubcraft, which is not paying attention to the loadout.
GRN|Stephan.Moreau, - Very Heavy Fighter
Codename weaponry mounted. Highly possible that such weapons are better than default military grade weaponry. Short bursts of high damage output, combined with Mini Razor and Nuclear Mine can end up jousting opponent.
Antoine.Berret - Bomber
EMP Cannons mounted. Anti-Capital loadout with Train Cruise Disruptor suggests that this vessel can be used for interception of transports.
IMPORTANT: Light Cloaking Device is fueled by highly explosive chemical compound. The ship is easy prey to missile barrage.
Jean.Dupport - Very Heavy Fighter
Regular military grade weaponry mounted. Missile launcher with highly accurate missiles. The armor plating is thin, thus the ship might be easily destroyed by well placed Nuclear Mine, or Mini Razor Shot.
GRN|Katsuko.Komatasu. - Bomber
EMP Cannons mounted. Anti-Capital loadout with Train Cruise Disruptor suggests that this vessel can be used for interception of transports.
Incomplete data: Sagittarius.A* - Battleship
Inconclusive scans performed on the to-be-debris-and-remains of Battleship shows traces of top-of-the-line Capital Armor Upgrade plating.
Irrelevant data: |IDF|Mordre - Very Heavy Fighter
Corporation vessel used for combat. Screamer and Mosquito Cruise Disruptor combined with civilian-grade-anti-hull firepower suggest that this ship is performing support role. To avoid the combination, one should not joust straight towards the foe.
=LSF=Roland'Noland - Bomber
Liberty Security vessel equiped for anti-capital role. Highly probable that it is used for hostile commercial traffic interception in Leeds System. Ripper mine has better tracking system, suggesting that it is to counter agile snubcrafts.
