Igliss thanks for taking the time to bring a great tool to the community. I am sure there are quite a few of us who have some wonderful ideas for the board already. I for one personally do and hope that we can all work together to make the Disco Wiki a wonderful resource of knowledge.
1) Server factions - one page listing them all;
- subpages for each of them, if someone would wish to create such pages;
Possible - list of characters with links to forum RP stories;
2) PvP server - general information (admins, IP, data, etc)
3) In the dev section - list of ships requested for development (necessary for the mod);
- All pending ship submissions;
- All pending system submissions;
- Possibly - more info on mod design plans (that's my task to do).
Igiss; some of that stuff can easily be solved by creating templates or infoboxes and then marking the appropriate categories. Two things I did notice that maybe could be considered is A) the logo is the generic MediaWiki logo; why not customize it; and B) Uploads are disabled. Any reason or will they be turned on in the near future?

Custom skins would be nice as well. I like blue and dark colors myself. Thankfully css files can always be altered. My thoughts lie with this skin and maybe tweaking it,
Are skins really that necessary? If yes, I'll install one... if I would know how to do it of course, since Wiki lacks any kinds of admin control panel unfortunately.
As for uploads... well, our hosting space is limited, and I have to delete uploads from forums as well on a regular basis. So, not sure if it's worth to enable it... and even if yes, how should this be done?

Well, there are themes that match the FL colors (and this community colors) more or less. I can customize CSSs myself in text, but I have no idea how to install the skin, and how the customization generally works for mediawiki engine.

If you would like some more advanced help without me going into pages of detail send me a pm and I can fill you in on what I know.
As for your uploading pictures issue if you want to turn the setting on this information is taken from mediawiki.com
How do I enable uploading? File uploads are an often-used feature of MediaWiki, but are disabled by default in all current release versions. To enable them, first make the upload directory (default images) writable by the web server (chmod 777 or allow the Apache user to write to it, etc.) then set $wgEnableUploads to true in LocalSettings.php (i.e. "$wgEnableUploads = true;"). See Manual:Configuring file uploads for more information.
