Right, this is mainly a simple question: Is there any way to find/get the background used in the discoverymap image? (The discoverymap.png you can find in the game's folder)
[By background i'm referring to the plain space image with nebulaes and stars, without all the system dots and lines.]
Use the search function, folks. It can often be a lot quicker than asking a question that's already been answered.

Wait, what. Has Discovery's map background been modified from Vanilla? I personally can't see any differences between the two at first glance, but I could be missing something...
EDIT: Derp, nevermind. I won't be seeing any differences anyhow, as the map above there was actually extracted from my v4.86 install. It's probably best to not attempt to use Discovery as a Vanilla FL reference.
EDIT2: Here's a cropped version without the black borders at the top and bottom that the original has.
Many thanks for the image, Error. Yeah, it's true that the search function is of use - but in my case i simply didn't find anything. I must have used the wrong queries.
[P.S. Differences between the vanilla image and this one: purple area on the mid-right (Omicrons, Lost/Rho, i think...) + teal area on the mid-left (Taus/Orkney, probably) + all the red/purple on the upper-left (All of Gallia). And of course we could mention the fact that this one has relatively better graphics.]
