Another mining yield multiplier based on the amount of ships in group

IMG has a 4x bonus on Niobium, takes X amount of time to fill a 5ker. Using two miners, it takes X/2 to fill it: your rate is doubled.

Yeah, I think people were over complicating things and forgot that.
However, i think what spazzy is getting at is that he's suggesting that there's a multiplier that doesn't affect the field drain?

I am actually suggesting that after an X amount of people are in a group and inside the field, the field drain not only stops, but the drop is increased. In other words, solo mining becomes completely unprofitable and causes people to set up mining operations. Such operations would be spurting out so much more, that other traders can go in and buy the ore for cheap, thus promoting non-miner ore trading.

And place that inside Kusari. Because.

In other words, the only way to get the mining bonus for any ore field, apart from helium, water and scrap and such is:


Mining capable ship
Turrets
ID
IFF
5+ ships in the field and in group.

Very well pointed out there.

I remember my first days in disco, sometime during 4.84 I believe. I were very isolated from other factions and groups, and I would most of the time go solo on everything. This would have made my ordinary day miserable, and I wouldn't be drawn to play, as all the groups and factions got richer and richer, while I would have stayed poor, in a sense.

No, it just means that if he wants to get the best goodies, he should interact with people in a multiplayer game.

I don't like it. When it's morning there are very few people online in the server, something like 20-30 people online. No pirates, few traders, no miners. What if I want to do some mining alone and I can't because there is a so useless implementation? Or anyway, what if I have to stay there more time than now to get some ores. Also as I think many people some times I want to be alone and make some money on my own. This doesn't mean that I isolate myself and I do not RP, I can always meet someone who want to pirate me.
To tell the truth there are already some large groups that mine and sell a lot and it's very easy to make one, I'm already a member of one of those groups, so I think if you want to make one to mining, just ask to some people, you don't need something more.
