what about lower the amount of cargo space that a docking bay use from 300 to something of 50??
or make it build in with the carrier class ships ?
this can add more roleplay to the game because people will faster add a docking bay and then they are still able to mount a cloak or a jump drive so the carrier can jump or cloak with 2 fighters inside of him
and people can repair their ship during battle to dock on a carrier
Carriers should come with docking modules. they wouldnt send a ship that claimed to be a carrier on its way from the shipyard without it being able to actually carry they stuff it was meant to.
Making DM's taking up 50 Space is a good point.
As it is now it takes up in Battleships 350 Space and in Carries just 300. It is this way cuz carriers should carry ships aye.
If it would be made that it uses in Carriers just, 150 Space so mounting 4 of them on it's 4 slots wouldn't be any problem. But now it is. No one would mount on his Carrier at the moment 4 Docking modules just to have some RP when he is wasting his Armor away. 6x300= 1800. This would mean NO WEAPONS on the Carrier and no Armor. and that can just have the Zoner Carrier and the Liberty Carrier. The rheinland carrier would have too less cargo space.
I would say why don't the carriers have significant more Cargo space (500+) than all other ships? I mean hey mean. They are big ugly things. And carriers, so they should have more cargo space at all or the Docking modules should use on them less Space.
Otherwise those docking modules are not usefull. I've heard soon are coming Docking Modules Typ2 where Gunboats can dock. And every carrier can mount 2 of them. Also how much space will them take up? 500? 700? As them take bigger ships? C'mon guys lower them cargo space what they use. And soon is the Bretonia Carrier coming .. I am already wondering how much space it will have hopefully a bit more as it got a rly big front I've seen...
